BREAKING (Live Feed, Briefing Expected): Couple Livestreams Possible Break in Case Near Where I-75 Shooting Suspect Vanished

A couple livestreaming in the woods may have broken the case of the disappeared I-75 shooter.  The alleged shooter fell off the radar as authorities searched the area of his supposed location, leaving everyone baffled as to his whereabouts.

This story is still in progress, and the Kentucky State Police are currently working the location with a media briefing expected any minute.  This is the footage reportedly taken by the couple as they traversed the woods just off of I-75.

This reportedly leaked footage from the Kentucky State Police helicopter shows just how close authorities were to capturing the suspect before they lost sight of him in the dense terrain.

According to Newsweek, this is what the Kentucky State Police have confirmed:

Kentucky State Police announced they found a dead body on Wednesday, the twelfth day of a manhunt for a suspect accused of shooting at vehicles on the Interstate 75.

“Kentucky State Police troopers have located a body in the vicinity of exit 49 in Laurel County and detectives are working to confirm the identity,” Kentucky State Police Trooper Scottie Pennington wrote on Facebook.

Officials have been searching for 32-year-old Joseph A. Couch since September 7, when he allegedly opened fire at vehicles about “30-feet down from the top of a cliff” near I-75 in Laurel County.

Five people were injured in the shooting, all of whom are expected to survive. Two people were wounded in a subsequent car accident.
