President Trump and JD Vance attended the 9/11 remembrance ceremony in New York City on Wednesday morning.
Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg were also present at the ceremony.
Before the ceremony started, Harris and Trump both shook hands.

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump made a rare joint appearance on Wednesday at the New York City site that marks the Sept. 11 plane attacks in 2001 that killed nearly 3,000 people.
Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee and Trump, her Republican rival in the Nov. 5 U.S. presidential election, shook hands and exchanged a few words, despite their a contentious debate the night before, then lined up for the commemoration. Trump’s running mate, Senator JD Vance of Ohio, also attended.

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump followed a night of tense debate with a day of solemn tribute on Wednesday, briefly shaking hands before a 9/11 memorial services in at Ground Zero in New York City.
Harris and Trump, who had a more awkward handshake just before Tuesday’s contentious debate, planned to attend other 9/11 memorial services throughout the day. They started with the ceremony at the site of the twin towers that were the first targets of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
As loved ones read out the names of the fallen on 9/11, Harris and President Joe Biden stood on the front row just a few feet away from Trump and running mate JD Vance.
