Trump Wants To Move Debate With Kamala Harris To New Network, Here’s Where

President Trump has called for his debate with Kamala Harris to be moved to Fox News.

Trump was originally supposed to debate Joe Biden on September 10 on ABC News, but now that Biden has dropped out, Trump has insisted the debate be moved to Fox News.

Trump, in a Truth Social post, wrote, “My debate with Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the history of the United States, was slated to be broadcast on Fake News ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, sometime in September.”

“Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC,” added Trump.

Here’s what Fox News reported:

Former President Donald Trump said the next presidential debate should be moderated by Fox News, not “on Fake News ABC,” after President Biden dropped out of the 2024 race.

“My debate with Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the history of the United States, was slated to be broadcast on Fake News ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, sometime in September. Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC. Thank you!,” Trump posted to Truth Social late Sunday afternoon.

Trump’s statement comes after Biden officially dropped out of the 2024 presidential race following weeks of mounting pressure from Democratic allies that he should bow out and pass the mantle to someone better suited to defeat Trump come November. The calls for him to drop out stem from concerns over his mental fitness and 81 years of age, which came under heightened scrutiny after his disastrous debate performance last month.

“It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek re-election, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden said in his letter posted to X Sunday afternoon.

Despite calling for the debate to be on Fox News, Trump is still willing to debate Harris on ABC News:

Per The Hill:

Former President Trump is pushing for the second presidential debate to be hosted by a network other than ABC, accusing it of bias against him as he shifts his attacks to Vice President Harris ahead of November.
“ABC Fake News is such a joke, among the absolute WORST in the business,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform overnight Monday. “They try to make Crooked Joe into a brave warrior because he didn’t have the ‘guts’ to fight it out — He quit!”

“They then tried to make ‘Sleepy’ look like a great President – he was the WORST, and Lyin’ Kamala into a competent person, which she is not. ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, is not worthy of holding a Debate, of which I hope there will be many!” the former president added.

ABC is currently slated to host a second presidential debate Sept. 10, a clash Trump and President Biden had agreed to.
