Trump’s Donation To Kamala Harris Resurfaces, Heres How It Will Help Him BIG In Debates

A resurfaced donation stub from Donald Trump shows he donated  $6,000 to Kamala Harris in her re-election campaign to be the California Attorney General.

From 2011-2013, Trump gave $6,000 to Harris’ campaign and his daughter Ivanka Trump also gave to Harris in 2014.

In 2015, Trump used his past donations to Democrats as a strong debate talking point.

Trump, during his 2016 presidential run, stated, “I’ve given to Democrats. I’ve given to Hillary. I’ve given to everybody! Because that was my job. I gotta give to them. Because when I want something, I get it.”

Behizzy on X, explained how Trump’s donation will help Trump in a debate:

Here’s what USA Today reported:

As Kamala Harris appears poised to replace Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee, a past connection between herself and Donald Trump has garnered interest: the GOP nominee once donated to her re-election campaign while Harris was serving as California attorney general.

From 2011 to 2013, Trump gave $6,000 to Harris’s campaign. Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, also donated $2,000 to Harris in 2014.

The past disclosure began to circulate on social media as Harris announced her intention to “earn and win” the Democratic nomination.

In 2015, Harris redistributed the donations by giving the funds to a nonprofit focused on Central American civil rights.

“It’s interesting: I was looking at the ones I’m running against. I’ve contributed to most of them. Can you believe it?” Trump said while campaigning in 2016. “I’ve given to Democrats. I’ve given to Hillary. I’ve given to everybody! Because that was my job. I gotta give to them. Because when I want something, I get it. When I call, they kiss my (expletive).”

Per NPR:

Former President Donald Trump donated not once but twice to re-elect Kamala Harris as the attorney general of California.

California records show that Trump contributed $5,000 in September 2011 toward Harris’ 2014 reelection campaign, and followed up with another $1,000 in February 2013. His daughter Ivanka Trump also donated to the campaign, contributing $2,000 in 2014.

But Harris did not keep the $6,000 from Trump. A spokesperson told the Sacramento Bee in 2020 that she donated the money to a “nonprofit that advocates for civil and human rights for Central Americans” in 2015, by which point she had been reelected and was launching her bid for the Senate.
