The Obama Trend that MAGA Patriots STILL Mimic, Do You Do It?

President Barack Obama laughs with aides aboard Air Force One en route to Singapore, Nov. 14, 2009. Okay, taking a brief pause from the news to share this curious bit you.

My next story is an update on the border. So while you read this, I’ll work on that, deal?

Do you miss the time when people would give you a proper handshake when you greeted them rather than a cold hard knuckles?

What caused the change?

I’m fairly certain I’ve tracked down the culprit.

In fact, the very moment.

It was June 3, 2008.

At the DNC Convention.

Barack Obama secured enough delegates to get the nomination for President of the United States.

He then gives a celebratory knuckle bump to Michelle ‘Big Mike’ Obama and the crowd go

Probably didn’t mean much, though, right?

Wrong. People caught that and I have proof.  “The fact that the President and the First Lady did a fist bump…” – Common (rapper, actor)

It’s now 2009.

Your minding your business. You didn’t even watch the DNC, so what do you care?

When you saw a friend or stranger, you greeted them with a handshake, hug or high five.

It’s now 2010, suddenly warm human contact starts to slow. It finally spread to your corner of the world.

Meeting new people at church, you were now greeted with a fist. Not an open hand, but a fist. A symbol used among gangs, a symbol of aggression.

Let’s do a search to see when the fist bump entered into the social fabric of society:

Well, would you look at that.

June 2008.

Before that, not even on people’s radar.

After that, it hasn’t gone away.

Now what occurred June 2008?

“Boom!” as they say.

That moment right there is the birth of fist bumps. When we got a ‘gangsta’ President.

Now, I’ve generally always disliked that gesture.

Now I really won’t do it.

Even a commenter states: “That was history Right there! the first president to ever fist bump.”

That’s how backwards we’ve become. When being ‘cool’ was the main target, not actually helping the people.

Here’s a curious fact, might not be relevant.

But the fist is a long time symbol of Communism, and we know Obama loves his politics to be all controlling.

It seems every fist bump we do is a tribute to Obama, without even realizing it. But now we do.

Here’s to hoping this ghetto trend ends soon.

Curious the type of music CNN plays while showcasing his fist bumps. Almost as if its from that culture:

Let’s end this with a Trump Power handshake.
