WATCH: President Trump Gets Congressional Reinforcements In Court Battle!

How can a man be prosecuted by a sham court on sham charges and not even be able to speak about it?

This is the injustice President Trump has been facing during his ongoing legal cases—he isn’t allowed to scream while they attack him.

The former President has tried long and hard to undo the numerous gag orders placed on him by Judge Juan Merchan, Arthur Engoron, and others, albeit unsuccessfully.

However, now the embattled 45th President is getting some reinforcements in his ongoing battle against the deep state.

Rep. Andy Ogles recently introduced the “Let Trump Speak Act”—a bill designed to push back against the unjust gag orders placed on the former President. On Thursday, Rep. Ogles announced:

“Activists within the justice system are attempting to strip President Trump of his right to free speech for the sake of their own political agenda.

The Left’s attempt to silence conservatives through weaponized gag orders must be stopped. That is why I have introduced the ‘Let Trump Speak Act.” Read on to find out more:

The Epoch Times provided a portion of the bill’s text:

“No judge of the United States or of any State may issue a gag order to the defendant in any criminal or civil proceedings except to prevent the disclosure of confidential information provided in discovery, to protect the privacy of minors, or as part of a plea agreement.”

Mercedes Schlapp reminded her audience of just one egregious instance of a gag order imposed on President Trump:

“An activist judge ordered President Trump to pay more than $360 million in a case with no victims, no plaintiff, all loans being repaid and banks involved testifying in favor of the Trump Organization.

Trump wasn’t able to defend himself because of gag orders while politically-motivated AG Letitia James targeted him. You only see this in banana republics.”

According to Fox News, several other GOP lawmakers have already signaled their support for the bill:

“This continued weaponization of justice and harassment of President Trump must end,” Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., one of the co-sponsors, said in a statement.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., another co-sponsor, said, “We have seen how our institutions have gone after President Trump to try and forcibly silence him.”
