Juror Dismissed From Trump “Hush Money” Trial

Court of Law and Justice Trial Session: Imparcial Honorable Judge Pronouncing Sentence, striking Gavel. Focus on Mallet, Hammer. Cinematic Shot of Dramatic Not Guilty Verdict. Close-up Shot.

Yet another juror was dismissed from the “hush money” trial’s juror pool on Thursday.

The juror claimed she could no longer be impartial and unbiased, and her dismissal has raised important questions about the fairness of the trial.

This particular juror was already admitted by Merchan; how many more impartial jurors could have been confirmed?

Is it even possible for President Trump to get a fair trial inside New York City? I am not so confident.

Here are the latest updates on the jury and this sideshow case gripping the nation:

USA Today confirmed:

A woman identified as Juror #2 raised concerns after the day off Wednesday about remaining fair and impartial because she was being contacted by friends and colleagues who suspected she was on the jury.

Judge Juan Merchan asked reporters to limit their descriptions of potential jurors after her dismissal.

The dismissed juror had this to say: “You know, he looked less orange, definitely like more yellowish. Like yellow. He looks bored. He wants this to be finished and go do his stuff.”

ABC News provided the latest update on the jury selection:

A full jury of 12 members has now been seated following the addition of five more jurors. The court is now working to select the six alternate jurors for the case.

“We have our jury,” Judge Merchan said. The 12 jurors then rose, raised their right hands, and were sworn in.
