Legacy media outlets are calling upon the leading 2024 Presidential candidates to debate each other.
Let’s be real though, President Trump has openly committed to a debate and challenged Joe Biden to debates on numerous occasions, many, many times.
The letter was essentially pointed at the 81-year-old Biden, who hides and does not debate.
Signatories of the letter include CBS News, CNN, The Associated Press, Fox News, ABC News, NPR, C-Span, and others.

The Associated Press, one of the signatories of the letter, noted:
While Trump, who did not participate in debates for the Republican nomination, has indicated a willingness to take on his 2020 rival, the Democratic president has not committed to debating him again.
Former Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy stated: “The country will be well served if Biden & Trump face off & have an open debate. If Biden ducks, that will tell those who claim to stand for ‘our democracy’ all they need to know.”

ABC News provided this statement from the Trump campaign:
“President Trump has been very clear: he is willing to debate Joe Biden any time, any where, any place.
We once again call on Joe Biden to commit to debates,” spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said.
