DOJ Refuses To Hand Over Biden Tapes, What Are They Hiding?

The Department of Justice continues to provide cover for dementia Joe.

In a bold and defiant move, Biden’s DOJ refused to hand over the audio tape transcript of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with Joe Biden.

House Oversight Chairman Rep. James Comer said in a statement on Monday:

“The Biden Administration does not get to determine what Congress needs and does not need for its oversight of the executive branch.

The American people deserve to hear the actual audio of President Biden’s answers to Special Counsel Hur.”

CNN provided the DOJ’s excuse for not handing over the tapes:

In a new letter obtained by CNN, DOJ said it would not be turning over the audio tapes by the deadline Republicans set for them.

The department noted the committees already have all of the transcripts of the interviews they requested from Hur’s investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents, including the transcripts of interviews with the president and with his ghostwriter, which the department turned over Monday.

Lawmakers and concerned citizens alike ripped the DOJ for refusing to hand over Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview tapes with Joe Biden.

Newsmax featured this reaction from Rep. Byron Donalds:

“This goes back to a major issue. I believe that Merrick Garland has been the one who has obstructed justice on behalf of the president of the United States.

If you look at the way that main Justice [Department] was handling the Hunter Biden investigation before House Oversight started doing their own investigations, it would demonstrate to you that they were basically holding the bag, slowing everything down so that they can get through the election.

And then after the election, then who cares at that point. That’s what they were trying to do.”
