Bravo Scheels! Proudly Celebrating Easter and JESUS!

Sometimes we tend to focus too much on the negative…

And by “we” I mean society as a whole but also specifically us here at WLTReport.

I don’t go out looking for negative stories, but unfortunately they outnumber the good ones by a large margin.

So I am SO PLEASED to be able to bring you this wonderful story featuring Scheels sporting goods.

Thanks to a reader who sent me this screenshot of an email they received from Scheels this morning on Easter Sunday:

So great to see this!

Here’s the full image so you can see it:

Most companies these days won’t even celebrate Easter at all — or even mention it.

If they do, it is ONLY with Bunnies and Eggs.

But Scheels did it 100% right here.

The cross of Jesus Christ is proudly featured.

There is not a bunny or egg in sight.

HE IS RISEN is printed in bold all caps lettering.

And Matthew 28:6 is proudly featured.

Perfect all around!

Scheels is going to be getting a whole lot more business from me, and I hope you too!

Please help us share this good news of a company doing a great thing!

It isn’t the first time they have proudly featured JESUS on Easter Sunday…

This is from 2017:

Customers are taking notice:

And this proudly featured at their stores:

I checked their Twitter profile and I don’t see anything posted for this year, but it also looks like they only posted a couple times in all of 2023.

So bravo on everything you are doing Scheels — my only recommendation is perhaps get someone to run your Twitter account more actively.

If you’d publish these things on Twitter, me and 5 million of my closest friends would be happy to help share them and get the message out for you!

Keep up the great work!
