Well, this is interesting…
On Monday, two mansions owned by rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs were raided as part of a sex trafficking investigation.
Now, it turns out that one of these homes — Diddy’s $40M, sprawling 17,000 square feet mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles — has an underwater tunnel connected to a grotto.

In 2014, The Los Angeles Times had reported on the underwater tunnel in a piece about the new mansion:
Sean John Combs, aka Puff Daddy, P. Diddy or just plain Diddy, has bought a newly built mansion in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles for $40 million.
Completed this year, the European-style villa has about 17,000 square feet of living space in a two-story main house with a 35-seat theater, a gym and a wine room. There’s another 3,000 square feet in another structure.
The more than one acre of grounds includes a lagoon-style swimming pool with a grotto connected by an underwater swimming tunnel.
In light of the recent raid on Diddy’s mansion, Fox 5 Atlanta reported:
Music producer and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs purchased his swanky $40 million Los Angeles estate in 2014.
Located in the lavish neighborhood of Holmby Hills, the home measures 17,000 square feet and has a 3,000 square-foot guesthouse, according to TMZ.
The European-style villa has a 35-seat theater, a gym, a wine room and even has an underwater swimming tunnel which connects to a grotto, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Hmm…now keep in mind Diddy had this mansion custom-built in 2014.
So..what would Diddy have built an underwater tunnel for?
Is this just a flex of the ultra-rich?
It definitely is something straight out of a supervillain plot:

Or, is the tunnel evidence of something much darker at play?…
This new revelation has social media users speculating:
It is all connected. Diddy has an underwater tunnel beneath his mansion.

Now, it’s important to note here that while the raids on his mansions are part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation, “Diddy” Combs has, so far, not been arrested or charged with any crimes.
The fact that his whereabouts are currently unknown (or what his stage name sounds suspiciously like…) certainly doesn’t seem to be helping his case…
But, innocent until proven guilty.
However, several of Combs’ associates were detained during the raid, and one – Brendan Paul, who is being referred to as Diddy’s “drug mule” – has been arrested.

The Miami Herald reported:
Four people in Diddy’s entourage were cuffed by federal agents after they raided his Miami Beach mansion Monday. Another Diddy associate was busted on drug charges at the Opa-locka airport. And the rap mogul was questioned by agents at the airport before a plane linked to him flew to a Caribbean island.
The agents ultimately let the four go, but Miami-Dade Police arrested a man at Miami Opa-locka Executive Airport on Monday afternoon who was described as Diddy’s “mule” in a lawsuit against the music producer.
At the same airport, federal agents seized Diddy’s phone and questioned him before clearing him to fly with family and friends to Antigua and Barbuda, a twin-island Caribbean nation just east of Puerto Rico. On Tuesday morning, the plane was at V. C. Bird International Airport in Antigua and Barbuda, but there is no evidence that Diddy landed in Antigua and Barbuda, a government official on the island told the Herald.
