I’ll be the first one to say that I don’t agree with RFK Jr about a lot of things, but he would make a better President or Vice President than 95% of the GOP.
That being said, President Trump isn’t a very big fan of RFK Jr, and I get why.
The Presidential hopeful embraces a slew of radical left ideas that are silly at best, and disastrous for the future of the nation at worst.
Still, he has some wise policy positions—especially for a Democrat. His thoughts on the experimental Covid shots and the ‘pandemic’ are a prime example.
All eyes have been on RFK Jr as he announced his pick for his running mate in 2024. After a bevy of interesting potential names were thrown out, I am not impressed with RFK’s choice.
I don’t think Nicole Shanahan is the worst person in the world—merely a completely underwhelming choice.
Former President Trump seemingly wasn’t all that impressed either, take a look at this statement he issued in response to RFK’s choice for VP:

USA Today provided a short biographic for Nicole Shanahan:
Her first marriage to San Francisco investor and finance executive Jeremy Asher Kranz reportedly lasted from 2013 to 2015. She was attending the Santa Clara University School of Law at the time, graduating in 2014.
She reportedly met Brin that year at a yoga retreat and the pair married in 2018, the same year their daughter Echo was born. They separated in 2021 and divorced last year.
It’s unclear how much money she received in their confidentical divorce proceedings, but in 2022, Brin donated $23 million worth of shares in Alphabet, Google’s parent company, to the philanthropy she founded and presides over, the Bia-Echo Foundation.
Shanahan shares RFK Jr’s position on vaccines, the Silicon Valley philanthropist recently stated:
“Science requires us to question things. Science requires us to not accept anything as an absolute truth.
And it is confusing to me that we have accepted that vaccines are writ large safe, and they’re the right path forward 100% of the time.
The fact that we can’t question vaccines as being responsible for certain chronic diseases or certain injuries is something today I’m comfortable talking about because I am such a lover of science.
I do believe that [RFK Jr] is more than a candidate. I believe that there’s a movement at hand and that movement is very scientific.
That’s what Bobby Kennedy is about and that’s why I’ve come around from where I was before and have aligned with it.”

Daniel Kotzin asked: “Nicole Shanahan’s second husband was Sergey Brin, one of the co-founders of Google. They signed a prenup, but she sued him for $1 billion anyway. She has used the money she got from the confidential settlement to buy a place on RFK’s ticket. Why is anyone defending this choice?”

Fox News noted:
A native of Oakland, California, the 38-year-old Shanahan is a philanthropist with a long history of donating to Democrat and left-leaning causes, including supporting President Biden in his 2020 election bid before switching to Kennedy when he launched his own run for the Democrat nomination last year.
