ECLIPSE UPDATE: The Only Sign Will Be The Sign of Jonah!

I’ve covered the upcoming Solar Eclipse a couple times already here at WLTReport but I just found even more information to share with you!

So I had not connected it to Matthew 12:38-40, which reads:

“Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, ‘Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.’ But He answered and said to them, ‘An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.'”

Now I’m not saying this is 100% guaranteed to be the “sign of the prophet Jonah” mentioned in that verse, but it sure it pretty interesting that the path of the Eclipse crosses over 8 Cities named Nineveh!

And what I didn’t know earlier is it also passes over one City named Jonah!

What are the odds?

Just a random coincidence?

A random coincidence involving the naming of cities across the USA and Canada which were probably named at random times over the last 400 years?  And the location a solar eclipse that would suddenly occur in 2024 and happen to hit them all?

I don’t know, that’s an awful lot of strange coincidences!

The Upcoming U.S. Eclipse Just Got Even Stranger!

I’ve previously reported on the upcoming Solar Eclipse to occur in the United States on April 8, 2024.

I’ll post that reporting below in case you missed it.

But let me quickly bring you up to speed….

Seven years ago in 2017 we had the first solar eclipse that crossed the USA, you probably remember it.  It was a big craze.

It resulting in this infamous Trump meme:

Still hilarious to me, the man is so tough he looks straight into the eclipse with no sunglasses!

What a legend.

Anyway, that was back in 2017 and we knew back then a new Eclipse would hit in 2024 criss-crossing the nation so it formed an “X” or a cross or whatever you want to label it.

So any time you get an event like that that literally marks an “X” on the USA, you tend to pay attention.

After all, the Bible tells us in Genesis 1:14 that God uses the Sun, Moon and Stars for signs and seasons:

“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years”

So when there’s a giant sign in the sky creating an “X” across the USA, maybe it’s worth paying attention?

But then when you look into it that’s when you start to notice some wild stuff.

As I reported on last week (and I will copy below), this new eclipse crosses through 8 cities named Nineveh (7 in the US, 1 in Canada).

I had no idea there were even 7 US cities named Nineveh in the first place, but there are!

Turns out there are EXACTLY 7, so this eclipse just so happens to cross all of them.

That’s kind of strange.

But now here’s the new bit of information.

I remember this now from 2017 but I had forgotten it.

The 2017 eclipse similarly crosses through 7 US cities named “Salem”.

Wow!

It reminds me of that Bible story of the 7 Years of Plenty and the 7 Years of Famine.  Same thing here, 7 and 7.  7 cities named Nineveh and 7 cities named Salem.

So it might be worth digging a little deeper to see what the message is here?  If indeed we’re supposed to learn something from this sign in the sky.

Salem is a semitic word most commonly said to mean “peace”, it shares the same root word as “Shalom”.

Nineveh is a city in the Bible that twice was sent “judgment” from God.  First from Jonah (and the Whale) and later a second time from the prophet Nahum where the capital of the Assyrian Empire is indeed then destroyed for its wickedness.

So recapping, our first eclipse seemed to spotlight the word “Peace” and the second eclipse happening in about a month seems to be more focused on “judgment for wickedness”.

It’s all over social media that the upcoming Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024 will do something very strange….the path of totality will cross over 8 towns/cities in the USA named “Nineveh/Ninevah”.

That’s strange, right?

But is it true?

I decided to research it and I wanted to share those results with you.

I have to admit something first, I had no idea we had any towns or cities in the USA named Nineveh, let alone 8 of them!

How about you?

That’s wild.

But here’s what else is crazy: the claim is mostly true.

According to ChatGPT, the claim is true with one small twist: the 8th city named Ninevah is in Nova Scotia, Canada:

I also asked Grok and Grok confirms the same information EXCEPT Grok claims that Ninevah, Canada is not in the Eclipse path:

As best I can tell from looking at maps, Ninevah, Canada is indeed close to the path of the Eclipse but perhaps slightly off.

So I think Grok is more accurate on that detail.

But now I want to take it one layer deeper….

Because here’s what I found even more stunning than that initial claim: not only does the Eclipse pass through 7 US cities named Nineveh, but there are ONLY 7 total US cities named Nineveh in the entire United States.

Yes, you read that right: there are only 7 total and the Eclipse hits them all!

Look, I don’t know what to make of all of this but I don’t think it’s just some random chance or coincidence.

So what would be the most logical thing to do next?

Might be good to refresh ourselves on what Nineveh was in the Bible and what importance that story had, don’t you think?
