Russia Makes Startling Claim About Ukrainian Casualties

Russia has made a startling claim about the casualties it has inflicted on Ukrainian forces.

Or rather, the multi-national forces of Ukraine. According to Russia’s Ministry of Defense report, Russian forces have eliminated close to 6,000 mercenaries since 2022.

Additionally, 491 of those slain mercenaries have been Americans fighting on behalf of Ukraine.

But, I thought we were repeatedly told that no American forces were fighting inside Ukraine. Russian Market, an investment and finance page, broke down the numbers from the report:

“Russian Defense Ministry releases stats on foreign mercenaries in Ukraine The MoD says that since February 24, 2022, 13,387 mercenaries arrived in Ukraine.

5,962 of them have been confirmed killed in action. Poland remains the largest source of mercenary power for Kyiv, with 2,960. Over half have died.”

Zero Hedge also dissected the Russian MoD report:

Notably, Russia claimed an astounding number of American mercenary deaths, putting the number killed from the United States at 491.

The number of fighters killed who hailed from Britain was listed at 360, and Canada – 422, another surprisingly high figure according to the claims.

Numerous reports and videos have confirmed the multi-national mercenary presence inside Ukraine, fighting on behalf of the Ukrainian government.

At the same time, Newsweek reported that Russia is seeking more mercenaries for its fight against CIA-controlled Ukraine:

Petro Yatsenko, spokesperson of Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, made the accusation during a Kyiv press conference, saying Russia has been seeking out more fighters from countries with a “difficult economic situation.”

Moscow has long been accused of enlisting troops from countries such as Nepal, Cuba, India and Somalia.
