Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel couldn’t contain himself and read President Trump’s Truth Social ‘review’ live at the awards show.
“Has there EVER been a WORSE HOST than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars. His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be. Get rid of Kimmel and perhaps replace him with another washed up, but cheap, ABC ‘talent,’ George Slopanopoulos. He would make everybody on stage look bigger, stronger, and more glamorous,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Also a really bad politically correct show tonight, and for years – Disjointed, boring, and very unfair. Why don’t they just give the Oscars to those that deserve them. Maybe that way their audience and TV ratings will come back from the depths. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he continued.
“I was told we have like an extra minute, and I’m really proud of something. I was wondering if I could share it with you. I just got a review,” Kimmel said before reading Trump’s post.
“See if you can guess which former president just posted that on Truth Social,” Kimmel said.
Kimmel then joked about Trump going to jail.
“Thank you for watching, I’m surprised you’re [still up]. Isn’t it past your jail time,” Kimmel said.

The Post Millennial shared other clips from Kimmel’s subpar performance hosting the Oscars.

The Post Millennial reports:
Kimmel appeared to skip over some of the part of Trump’s post which stated, “Why don’t they just give the Oscars to those who deserve them? Maybe that way their audience and TV ratings will come back from the depths.”
The former host of The Man Show, who has previously dressed in blackface and made degrading gestures toward women, did not mention Trump by name but asked the audience to guess which former president just posted the comments.
He thanked Trump for watching and retorted “Isn’t it past your jail time?”
The comedian has a history of adding political commentary during hosting gigs. During his opening monologue, Kimmel mocked Republican Alabama Sen. Katie Britt for her response to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union and praised Hollywood unions.
