Elon Musk Warns Of Democrat Census Scheme To Form “One-Party Deep Socialist State”

Elon Musk has seen the writing on the wall…

That is, when it comes to Democrats using illegal immigrants as pawns to tip the balance of power in their favor by counting them in the US census.

As it stands, the census counts EVERYONE, regardless of immigration status, towards granting House seats.

In several states, this gives Democrats more voting power than they would otherwise have.

On Thursday, Elon Musk brought attention to the issue in a post on X:

Most Americans are still unaware that the census counts ALL people, including illegal immigrants, for deciding how many House seats each state gets!

This results in Dem states getting roughly 20 more House seats, which is another strong incentive for them not to deport illegals.

On Friday, Musk doubled down by posting this response to Democrats refusing to pass Republican Sen. Bill Hagerty’s proposed amendment to ban counting illegal aliens for voting purposes:

Earlier today, Musk followed up with a warning that called out Democrats’ scheme to “grant citizenship to all illegals” and turn America into a “permanent one-party deep socialist state.”

Here’s a little background to what Musk is talking about:

Back in 2021, Joe Biden signed an executive order requiring the US Census to count all people, giving illegal immigrants representation.

Per Fox News:

Immigration experts are raising the alarm about how the increasing flow of migrants illegally crossing into the U.S. may significantly impact states’ representation in the House of Representatives and Electoral College.

Shortly after taking office in January 2021, President Biden signed an executive order requiring that the U.S. Census Bureau factor in all residents, including noncitizens, as part of its decennial calculation of the U.S. population. As a result, the apportionment of House seats and, therefore, electoral votes for presidential elections, could be swayed as migrants continue to pour over the southern border.

“Illegal immigration has all kinds of effects and among them is that it distorts the mechanics of democratic government,” Mark Krikorian, the executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, told Fox News Digital in an interview. “Illegal immigrants aren’t even supposed to be here, so their inclusion in the census count for purposes of apportionment really is outrageous.”

“There are a lot of close votes in Congress, more than there used to be. So, it can, in fact, make a difference,” Krikorian said. “It shouldn’t be a question of: Does this give you personally more influence in Washington? The question should be: Is it right? Is it healthy for our democratic process to be distorted this way? The answer is no.”

President Trump had wanted to add a residency requirement to the US Census to prevent this practice of using illegal immigrants to get more House seats.

If that were to happen, big Democrat strongholds like California and New York would lose a lot of power.

Elon Musk is absolutely right for calling out Democrats over this very sketchy practice.

The truth is, Democrats don’t have enough influence over the American people alone.

So, they have to bring in illegal immigrants to bolster their power…

I’m glad Elon Musk is publicizing this.

I’ve been bringing up this issue for many months if not years.

Democrat states like California and New York have lost so many residents that the states lost seats in the House last census.

It would’ve been worse if not for the illegals.

The Western Journal shared some more insight on Musk’s warning:

Illegal immigrants are tilting the balance of power towards Democrats, who are refusing to change the practice of counting them in the Census.

“Most Americans do not know that the US census currently counts, for purposes of voting power, all people in a district, regardless of citizenship!” Musk posted on X Friday, in a post with 19.2 million views as of Sunday night.

“Senate Democrats just voted unanimously to defeat an amendment that would have stopped counting illegals for congressional seat apportionment and electoral college (presidential) votes,” he wrote.

“Most Americans do not know that the US census currently counts, for purposes of voting power, all people in a district, regardless of citizenship!”

Musk noted that counting illegal immigrants helped Democrats.

“Since illegals are mostly in Democrat states, both the House and the Presidential vote are shifted ~5% to the left, which is enough to change the entire balance of power! This is a major reason why the Biden administration is ushering in record levels of illegals and doing so few deportations,” he wrote.

The post came the same day that Republican Sen. Bill Hagerty of Tennessee saw an amendment go down to defeat that would have banned counting illegal immigrants for Census purposes.
