Biden Humiliated With More Uncommitted Votes

Similar to the voters in Michigan, many voters chose to send another message to Joe Biden during Super Tuesday.

In Minnesota, a large percentage of Democratic primary voters oppose Joe Biden, even choosing to vote uncommitted.

Trending Politics has more information on the uncommitted vote in Minnesota:

Biden, who faced a nominal challenger in Congressman Dean Phillips (D-MN), who garnered 7.8% of the vote in his own state, saw “Uncommitted” collect 18.9% after a concerted campaign by liberal activists seeking to dent his path to securing the party’s nomination.

The number of uncommitted Democrats in Minnesota represents the most embarrassing rejection of Biden by members of his own party. Alabama’s primary, also held Tuesday, saw “uncommitted” garner 6% of Democratic voters, the second highest showing. Rep. Phillips came up short there as well as in Colorado where he collected 3% of the vote to 8% for “Noncommitted Delegate,” according to the Western Journal. Biden also saw 8% siphoned away by uncommitted Democrats in Tennessee.

The push for an uncommitted vote has been based on the Arab and Muslim American population.

Many progressive activists believe Biden has a poor approach for the support of Israel’s military operation in Gaza.

Not all states allow for an uncommitted vote, The Inquirer provides more information on the specific states which provides this option:

Half of the 16 states voting Tuesday have the option for at least one party’s primary for the Super Tuesday races. Alabama, Colorado, Iowa, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Tennessee all have the option to vote uncommitted in the Democratic primaries, while Alabama, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas have the option for the Republican primary.

Washington, which holds its primary on March 12, will also have the option for the Democratic race. Meanwhile, advocates in Georgia are encouraging Democrats to submit blank ballots in protest when that state holds its primary the same day.

Voting uncommitted is not an option in Pennsylvania, but an initiative funded by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) called Vote Uncommitted PA is encouraging people to write in ”uncommitted” in the Democratic primary. Since Pennsylvania has closed primaries, voters must be registered as a Democrat to participate.

Many people have taken to X to voice their opinions of Biden and the uncommitted vote:

Despite the fact there are no serious challengers for the Democratic primary, the results from Super Tuesday is yet another indication that Biden has failed to secure the Democratic voters.

A major portion of the vote that Biden is missing are young people and votes of color. the most recent polling shows President Trump leads the vote among 18-29-year-olds by roughly 20%.

While the Democratic Party and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre are attempting to display Biden as a competent leader, the polls are simply not reflecting good results.
