Biden Heads To Walter Reed Hospital, Will He Be Deemed Fit To Lead?

Amid recent and widespread inquiries into Joe Biden’s health and fitness to lead, the Resident-in-Chief has announced a visit to Walter Reed Medical for his annual checkup.

Let’s be real though, the checkup will likely not include a much-need cognitive exam—which is what we are all worried about.

I’ll make sure to give credit where credit is due. Biden is in excellent physical condition for an 81-year-old, but he isn’t running a triathlon.

It’s his mind that is deteriorating, not his body, and, quite frankly, even if it was, who cares?

Earlier this month, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, does not believe a cognitive test is necessary.

She said O’Connor believes Biden proves his cognitive ability “every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks.”

RNC Research jokingly remarked: “Biden shows INTENSE VIGOR as he half-jogs for a step on his way to Marine One. He is heading to get a physical (which will likely not include a much needed cognitive exam).”

After his last exam, performed in February 2023, doctors declared Biden “healthy, vigorous” and “fit” to handle his White House duties.

But voters are approaching this year’s election with misgivings about Biden’s age, having scrutinized his gaffes, his coughing, his slow walking and even a tumble off his bicycle.
