It looks like both Trump and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg are trying for the same move in this showdown.
Trump is trying to prevent Stormy Daniels, previous adult model, from testifying in next month’s criminal trial dealing with two women who allegedly had affairs with him.
In turn, her DA, Alvin Bragg is seeking to shut Trump up. An unconstitional move that would muzzle him.
Never a dull moment with these Democrats.

Former President Trump’s lawyers in his hush-money case on Monday demanded a New York judge block key witnesses from testifying in Trump’s first criminal trial set to begin next month.
Trump attorney Todd Blanche moved to block testimony from Michael Cohen, Trump’s ex-fixer, and two women he paid to stay quiet about affairs they alleged with Trump: Porn actress Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal.
Trump’s reimbursements to Cohen are the thrust of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s (D) prosecution of Trump, who denies the affairs and pleaded not guilty to his 34 charges of falsifying business records.
The 47-page motion attacks the witnesses’ credibility at length, casting Cohen as a “liar” and suggesting Daniels would offer “false” and “salacious” testimony.
Trump’s lawyers also took aim at how prosecutors have described the hush money payments as a “catch-and-kill” scheme to quash negative information about Trump in advance of the 2016 presidential election.
And from the other corner of the ring, we have Bragg wanting Trump silenced.
The funny thing is, all the Democrats pointing at Trump and saying he wants Stormy silenced because he’s lying and guilty, does that same logic apply when Stormy’s team is trying to basically do the same to him?

Jack Posobiec points out that Bragg is aiming to fill a liberal jury, violate the 1st Amendment and turn this old story into a felony.

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg is asking a judge to impose a partial gag order on Donald Trump for the upcoming Stormy Daniels case, by citing the ‘imminent threat’ to the proceeding and documenting threats to himself since Trump got charged.
With Trump’s sprawling legal situation in constant flux, the case relating to hush payments to porn star Stormy Daniels is set to begin next month, with an increase in court action for a case that will overlap with remaining presidential primaries.
Bragg’s office invoked the partial gag that a federal judge imposed in Trump’s January 6 case, as well as a New York judge who barred Trump from referencing court staff after attacks on his chief clerk.
Trump ‘has a long history of making public and inflammatory remarks about the participants in various judicial proceedings against him, including jurors, witnesses, lawyers, and court staff,’ according to Bragg’s 331-page filing.
He ‘has a longstanding and perhaps singular history of using social media, speeches, rallies, and other public statements to attack individuals that he considers to be adversaries.’
That includes comments directed at ‘courts, judges, various law enforcement officials and other public officials, and even individual jurors in other matters.’
Those remarks, as well as the inevitable reactions they incite from defendant’s followers and allies, pose a significant and imminent threat to the orderly administration of this criminal proceeding and a substantial likelihood of causing material prejudice,
Bragg cited the potential risk to jurors, and attached an affidavit from the head of his security detail who spoke to the spike in threats.
We all know this is a big nothing-burger but the Democrats are determined to try everything, to throw everything at Trump to stop him.
It always backfires and increases the support that Trump gets from the public.
They don’t seem to learn, do they?
