AOC Heckled by Protesters in Deep Blue NYC: “All You Care About Is Illegal Aliens and Their Votes!”

You know things are bad for Democrats when even AOC is being heckled by protesters in deep blue New York City.

New York City is one of the most liberal cities in the world.

It’s so bad that Democrat actually outnumber Republicans by over 2 to 1 in NYC.

And even “New York Republicans” are pretty liberal by the rest of the country’s standards.

These are your Never-Trumper and Liz Cheney-fan types.

Well, apparently even NYC is fed up with Democrat policies.

AOC was mercilessly heckled by protesters at her latest townhall.

If folks are this angry about immigration, just wait until November gets closer.

Remember, the caravans coming to the southern border will get worse as the weather gets better.

New York‘s most prominent national Democrats dealt with protests of various kinds on Thursday evening, including being shouted down from speaking and having their offices blocked by angry demonstrators.

During a town hall she was hosting in Queens, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was yelled at within minutes of taking the stage by two men upset with her job in Congress, specifically accusing her of only caring “about illegal aliens.”

The two men, who were taken out of the venue by police, called her a “scrub” and accused her of not caring about constituents. One of the men also called her a “disgrace” before being drowned out by chants of “AOC” from the crowd.

Ocasio-Cortez brushed off the protesters after they were taken out of the venue, saying “clearly” her New York City district was “in favor of progressive immigration policy.” Her town hall took place the same day she announced she was running for reelection.

This sort of thing doesn’t happen in New York.

Most Republicans try to hide their political identities out of fear of retribution.

If voters are openly defying AOC in public, then you know things have gotten bad for Democrats.

Of course, now that Biden is considering closing the border (because it’s an election year), now AOC is pushing back against Biden!

Democrats claim we don’t have open borders.

Well… here are two questions for you:

1. If we don’t have open borders, why is Joe Biden moving to close them?
2. And now that Joe actually is acknowledging the border, why is AOC so dead set against it?

The idea appeared “outrageous” to Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, who urged the president to reconsider.

Biden has considered utilizing the Immigration and Nationality Act’s Section 212(f), which allows presidents to suspend or restrict migrants’ entry into the U.S. should it detrimentally oppose U.S. interests, according to the Associated Press. Former President Donald Trump leveraged the law to bar travelers from some Middle East nations during his first month in office.
