19-Year-Old Son Of Former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki Found Deceased Inside College Dorm

The 19-year-old son of former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki was found dead inside his dormitory at the University of California, Berkeley.

The victim’s grandmother, Esther Wojcicki, confirmed his death and his identity in a Facebook post.

“Tragedy hit my family yesterday. My beloved grandson Marco Troper, age 19 passed away yesterday. Our family is devastated beyond comprehension,” Wojcicki wrote.

“Marco was the most kind, loving, smart, fun and beautiful human being. He was just getting starting on his second semester of his freshman year at UC Berkeley majoring in math and was truly loving it. He had a strong community of friends from his dorm at Stern Hall and his fraternity Zeta Psi and was thriving academically. At home, he would tell us endless stories of his life and friends at Berkeley,” she added.

Esther Wojcicki told SFGATE that she believes her grandson ingested a drug that killed him.

“We want to prevent this from happening to any other family,” Wojcicki told the outlet.

Chief Nerd writes:

“The 19-year-old son of former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki died Tuesday inside a dorm at the University of California, Berkeley.

Marco Troper, a freshman math major, was found unresponsive in a Clark Kerr campus dorm around 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, according to KRON4, citing school officials.

Police found no signs of foul play at the scene, while Troper’s grandmother Esther Wojcicki believed the teen died from a suspected drug overdose.

‘He ingested a drug, and we don’t know what was in it,’ Esther Wojcicki told SFGATE. ‘One thing we do know, it was a drug.’”

SFGATE reports:

Troper was found unresponsive in his room at Clark Kerr on Tuesday, his grandmother said. He was found at 4:23 p.m. on Feb. 13, according to an emailed statement from campus spokesperson Janet Gilmore. The Berkeley Fire Department administered “life-saving measures” and UC Berkeley police officers also responded, Gilmore said, but Troper was eventually declared dead at the scene.

Wojcicki said the family is waiting on a toxicology report that could help confirm the cause of death, but it could take up to 30 days.

Troper grew up in a family of people well-known in the Silicon Valley world. He was the son of storied tech executive Susan Wojcicki, who led YouTube as CEO for many years. His aunt, Susan’s sister Anne Wojcicki, co-founded the genetic testing company 23andMe and is its CEO. His grandmother Esther is sometimes referred to as the “Godmother of Silicon Valley” and founded the Palo Alto High School Media Arts Program. She wrote a book titled “How to Raise Successful People” that was published in 2019.

Zero Hedge added:

Even though the cause of death is unknown (tests are pending), and UC Berkeley police said there were no signs of foul play. This heartbreaking story is happening all across the nation as the third year of the Biden administration’s worsening border invasion has also accelerated a fentanyl overdose crisis.

Biden’s incompetent Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, was thankfully impeached by a GOP-led House vote last week. But his incompetence, along with that of many other left-wing radicals in the White House, is leaving a trail of destruction across this nation.
