Jim Harbaugh, the acclaimed head coach of the University of Michigan Wolverines, the recent national champions, joined the annual ‘March for Life’ rally in Washington, D.C., on Friday.
The March for Life is a yearly march and rally that takes place in Washington, D.C. It is a protest against the legality and practice of abortion. The march is held on or around the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide.
Since the legalization of abortion in 1973 with Roe v. Wade, there have been significant fluctuations in abortion rates and numbers in the United States.
Harbaugh, known for his football prowess, praised the attendees for their commitment to the pro-life cause on Friday.

Harbaugh is a known Roman Catholic and attended Washington’s annual pro-life march as he awaits his next major career decision. The football coach spoke in front of a huge crowd at the parade and said: “Thank you all for being here, it is a great example that you’re setting.
“It’s testimony to the sanctity of life. It’s a great day for a march, it’s a great day. It’s football weather, let’s go!” Harbaugh then spoke to the Daily Caller adding: “You know, we all talk about human rights. There’s really no rights that are important unless you have the right to life.”
