Did anyone ever have any doubts?
It has been clear to me for several years now that President Trump has been the clear frontrunner for the GOP. The entirety of the Republican base is now made up of right-wing populists, libertarians, and anti-establishment types.
How could Haley, DeSantis, or Christie have possibly been the choice of the MAGA movement?
Following the former President’s sweeping victory in Iowa, Vivek Ramaswamy dropped out of the race and fully endorsed the 45th President, and Joe Biden finally admitted to the obvious.
Biden announced on Monday: “Looks like Donald Trump just won Iowa. He’s the clear front-runner on the other side at this point. But here’s the thing: this election was always going to be you and me vs. extreme MAGA Republicans. It was true yesterday and it’ll be true tomorrow.”

According to The Associated Press:
In what was the lowest-turnout caucus in a quarter-century, participants endured life-threatening cold and dangerous driving conditions to meet in hundreds of schools, churches and community centers across the state.
But those who ventured out delivered a roughly 30-point win for Trump that smashed the record for a contested Iowa Republican caucus with a margin of victory exceeding Bob Dole’s nearly 13-percentage-point victory in 1988.
Charlie Kirk had this to say about President Trump’s victory in Iowa: “The final results are remarkable. It is by far the greatest success of any Republican candidate running in the history of the Iowa caucus that had any competitor.”

President Trump is the first GOP non-incumbent since Richard Nixon to win an outright majority in the Iowa caucus.
Time to ditch the distractions, unite behind Trump and focus on beating Joe Biden!

PBS News noted:
About 9 in 10 voters said they want upheaval or substantial change in how the government operates, according to AP VoteCast, a survey of more than 1,500 voters who said they planned to take part in the caucuses.
