While onstage introducing the best performance in a stand-up comedy on television category at the Golden Globes Sunday, Jim Gaffigan poked fun at his Hollywood elite pals.

“I can't even believe I'm in the entertainment industry. It's so unlikely. I'm from a small town in Indiana. I'm not a pedophile.”

Jim Gaffigan said, “I can’t even believe I’m in the entertainment industry. It’s so unlikely. I’m from a small town in Indiana. I’m not a pedophile.”
The joke has garnered some mixed reactions.
Some have pointed to Jim Gaffigan’s support of Biden and the irony of that.
Others have pointed the similarities to Ricky Gervais’ 2020 Golden Globes speech.
Watch that here:
Ricky Gervais still wins.

The New York Post shares more on the story:
Jim Gaffigan made a risky joke during Sunday night’s Golden Globes.
While he was onstage introducing the best performance in a stand-up comedy on television category, the comedian, 57, said, “This is so exciting for me. The Golden Globes, I mean, I can’t even believe I’m in the entertainment industry. I can’t, you know, it’s so unlikely. I’m from a small town in Indiana. I’m not a pedophile.”
His joke fell flat (albeit, not as flat as host Jo Koy’s Taylor Swift joke).
Gaffigan did not make a direct reference to deceased, convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein by name.
However, his joke came shortly after more unsealed Epstein documents were released, revealing a slew of celebrity names that were associated with Epstein’s infamous “list.”
Interesting take from Jim Gaffigan to a group of Hollywood elites.
I guess this is a “new” category in Hollywood: Pedophile 🫢😏pic.twitter.com/21Z6eAQJog

More from the Daily Mail:
High-profile people such as Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Al Gore, Kevin Spacey and Stephen Hawking were all included in evidence filings.
Some of the people named were associates, friends or victims of Epstein. But the vast majority were named in evidence by witnesses who said they had no links to the paedophile at all – or had not seen them at his many homes.
‘Cameron never met Jeffrey Epstein, nor was she ever in the same place as him or had any association with him whatsoever,’ Diaz’s rep said in a statement.
They added: ‘Regardless of the fact he may or may not have mentioned her name or implied that he knew her.’
The files are part of a defamation case brought against Epstein’s madam Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving 20 years in jail for sex trafficking underage girls to him.
While the joke is funny, it highlights one of the significant problems in Hollywood.
Too many of these powerful elites get away with their sadistic pleasures.
As more information about Jeffery Epstein and those associated with him emerges, the world is awakening to what the elites do behind closed doors.
