Nikki Haley Tries To Save Face By Cancelling Event At The Last Minute After Nobody Shows Up

Nikki Haley apparently thought her campaign would have a cake walk to the top of the republican ticket in 2024.

It’s clear that she has learned nothing from Ron DeSantis…

Haley cancelled a recent event in Iowa after barely anyone showed up.

The “official” reasoning behind the cancellation was due to bad weather.

One of her republican opponents suggested otherwise however…

Haley’s campaign cancelled the event at the very last minute and immediately had the PR team go into damage control mode, claiming that it was due to the snowstorm.

Vivek Ramaswamy called the Haley campaign out, and went ahead with his own event in Sioux City, Iowa.

As Vivek put it, “If you can’t handle the snow, you can’t handle Xi Jinping.”

Nikki Haley’s campaign reportedly canceled an event at the last minute to avoid what her critics describe as embarrassment, as video showed a relatively empty room and a few pro-Haley signs hanging on a wall.

“If you look around me, technically this is an event that was supposed to start in the last few minutes, and of course it’s empty,” a reporter on the scene said.

“You got empty chairs, stuff packed up in the corner, and signs just hanging on the wall — the only way you’d know that Nikki Haley was supposed to be here,” she said, noting that Haley’s team canceled the event “just a few minutes ago,” suggesting that no one actually showed up:

One of Haley’s chief rivals in the republican field, Vivek Ramaswamy, called Haley out after her team claimed that the cancellation was due to the bad weather:
