Joe Biden Gives Update On Secretary Of Defense Lloyd Austin

There’s a lot of buzz surrounding Biden’s Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, right now.

Controversy arose after news broke that Lloyd Austin was hospitalized for an unknown reason.

The main issue was that Lloyd Austin was missing for an entire week without his whereabouts.

This man is the Secretary of Defense.

Head of the Pentagon.

Nobody, not even Biden, knew where he was.

President Trump weighed in on the situation.

Check out his response here:

Now, Joe Biden has spoken on his course of action.

Biden doesn’t seem bothered by what happened to Lloyd Austin.

He will NOT fire him.

Read what the folks at Fox News have to say:

The White House said President Biden has “full trust” in Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin as calls mount for the defense leader to resign or be fired in light of his quiet hospitalization in an intensive care unit that even the White House was unaware of for days.

A White House official told Fox News Digital on Monday morning that President Biden has no plans to replace Austin and “continues to have full trust and confidence in the Secretary.”

The White House’s comment follows former President Trump, saying Sunday that Austin “should be fired immediately for improper professional conduct and dereliction of duty.”

“He has been missing for one week, and nobody, including his boss, Crooked Joe Biden, had a clue as to where he was or might be,” Trump added in his Truth Social post.

President Trump is right; Lloyd Austin should be fired from his job.

He is in charge of the strongest militaries on the Earth, and he disappears?

Extremely unprofessional.

RNC Research on X posted audio recordings of questions asked to the White House regarding Lloyd Austin.

The Associated Press News shares more on Lloyd Austin’s health:

The Pentagon released new details Sunday about Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s continued hospitalization, saying he had a medical procedure Dec. 22, went home a day later and was admitted to intensive care Jan. 1 when he began experiencing severe pain.

The latest information came as members of both parties in Congress expressed sharp concerns about the secrecy of Austin’s hospital stay and the fact that the president and other senior leaders were kept in the dark about it for days.

The statement, released by Air Force Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, did not, however, provide any details about the medical procedure or what actually happened on Monday to require Austin to be in intensive care at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Ryan said Austin was placed in the hospital’s intensive care unit “due to his medical needs, but then remained in that location in part due to hospital space considerations and privacy.”
