Tayler Hansen is a credentialed, independent journalist who puts himself into danger to get to the truth. On January 6, 2021, Hansen was reporting on the Capitol protests.
He was in the crowd when police fired on Trump supporters with explosive munitions and helped put out a man who was set on fire:

Tayler was also inside the Capitol building when Ashli Babbitt was shot and killed.
He reported on what he personally witnessed that day, laying out a completely different narrative than what mainstream media would have you believe.
Hansen wrote an incredibly insightful article for The Gateway Pundit in which he gave a detailed, event-by-event documentation of his experience at the Capitol on January 6. If you haven’t already, it is well-worth the read.
Here’s what he concluded at the end of his report:
I, Tayler Hansen, in no way, shape, or form support the events that unfolded on the 6th. With that being said, it doesn’t take a genius to know it’s impossible for unarmed protestors to have successfully breached one of the most secure buildings on Earth, while the Vice President was inside. As time passes one thing becomes more clear, the Capitol was the perfect set up, and Trump supporters took the bait.
The Capitol siege was the biggest political power grab in modern-day history. The Left has officially shifted the spotlight, and this time they’re coming for Trump supporters. We’re witnessing the most intense roll out of Big Tech censorship we’ve ever seen. Which just so happens to be targeting President Trump, conservatives, and what’s left of real journalists. Big Tech told conservatives to create their own platform if they didn’t want to be censored, so they did. In response, Apple and Google removed that platform Parler, an app founded on free speech. Mainstream media is attempting to silence independent and fact-based reporting, forming the ultimate monopoly on the so-called “truth”. They have Americans right where they want them.
This was ANTIFA’s proudest, and most accomplished moment yet. Known ANTIFA provocateurs have been exposed for causing the initial violence and unrest at the Capitol, but it doesn’t matter. Left-wing extremist groups have caused over $2B in property damage, attempted to burn down Federal Buildings, and are responsible for over 30 deaths since last May of 2020. There were never any reports of an “insurrection” or “terrorist attack” when ANTIFA attempted to occupy Federal Buildings in Portland or the historic courthouse in Nashville. Left-wing terrorists have received nothing but praise from elected officials, celebrities, and mainstream media throughout their existence.
Meanwhile, the mainstream media has labeled everyone at the US Capitol “Domestic Terrorists” even the hundreds of thousands who were there in DC to listen to President Trump and then left the area after he ended his speech. We’re bearing witness to the ultimate double standard.
With good reason, Hansen was concerned about the government’s response to what he had to say about what really happened on Jan 6.
Even though Tayler Hansen did not support the protests that turned violent at the Capitol that day, and had every right to be there as a fully-credentialed journalist, it turns out his concerns were spot on.
Just today, Hansen shared documents released by a whistleblower that reveal the U.S. government’s INSANE targeting and tracking of him after he reported on January 6th.
As Tayler Hansen puts it, he became the “victim of an illegal investigation” by the Biden administration.
According to the just-released evidence, the U.S. government under Biden spent $100K on trailing Tayler Hansen with a total of 48 Air Marshalls across 16 different flights for 2 WHOLE YEARS following his Jan 6 report.

Journalist Tayler Hansen, who has reported for this publication as well as others, revealed on X that he has been the “victim of an illegitimate investigation” by the Biden administration after his reporting on the events of January 6, 2021. “I was targeted by the US Government for doing my job and branded a Domestic Terrorist,” he said.
“The persecution of a reporter for doing his job is never acceptable,” Hansen told The Post Millennial. “Sadly, I am not the only one that this is happened to. There are thousands of ordinary Americans who have been unjustly targeted by DHS and their spying program, and there needs to be some real accountability. If anything is to happen to me due to publishing this document, it is blatant retaliation from the federal government.”
Hansen stated that he obtained documents from a whistleblower which revealed that he was listed as a “domestic terrorist,” was cataloged as having “violent tendencies,” and that he “resisted arrest.” Hansen said that none of this is true. The statement he obtained from that whistleblower even referenced appearances he made on Fox News’ Ingraham Angle with Laura Ingraham.
As Tayler Hansen pointed out in a follow-up post on X, he is not alone.
