We have an update to a story we first brought you last week.
Remember the Satanic Idol that was erected in the Iowa Capitol Building?
So evil and demonic looking.
And then remember who a man beheaded it?
Just like the fall of Dagon (if you know your Bible)!
Well that man is a Christian veteran named Michael Cassidy and he recently spoke with Jack Posobiec to tell his story….
“When I saw it in person, I knew it had to go down.”
“I saw it. I couldn’t believe it. A statue to Satan in our government, a capitol building…The devil is real. It struck me as wrong. I assumed the people who put it would say they made a mistake.. I saw on Wednesday, the statue icon was there..It really was this simple, it was wrong. It shouldn’t be there. Satan should not be praised in government. God is good. Satan is bad. I bought a ticket to Iowa. I had no true plan exactly what was going to happen… I prayed on it. The next morning, I got up. I went to the capitol. I didn’t know what to expect. I got there and no one was there. Seeing it in person, that statue, man. It was different seeing it in person. It clarified how evil it was. Actually seeing it in person. It made me realize that, yes, it had to come down..After I did what I did. I went back to security. I said hey remember me. This is what I did. In the end, they gave me a citation and I went on my way.”
What a great Christmas story!

Here was our original report:
JUST IN: Satanic Idol At Iowa State Capitol Reportedly BEHEADED By Christian Veteran
A few days ago, we brought you the story of a Satanic “Holiday Display” alter that was erected at the Iowa Capitol.
The Satanic Temple’s display at the Iowa State Capitol has sparked a lot of controversy and debate in recent days. The display, which includes an altar with the “seven fundamental tenets” of the Satanic Temple and the group’s seal, surrounded by electric candles, was erected on the first floor of the Iowa State Capitol earlier this month.
The display has faced opposition from some members of the public and lawmakers who have called for its removal, citing religious objections and concerns about the appropriateness of the display in a government building. Others have maintained that the display is a matter of free speech and freedom of religion.
More details are in this report:
Iowa Lawmaker Calls For Governor to Remove SATANIC ‘Holiday Display’ From Capitol
Well, it turns out sometimes you just need a little “beheading” to set things straight.
Today, a Christian veteran named Michael Cassidy reportedly tore down and beheaded the Satanic Temple statue in the Iowa State Capitol, according to reports out today including those from The Sentinel and The Post Millenial.
Here is what it looks like in the aftermath:

NATIONAL POLL: Are You Happy Melania Replaced Michelle As First Lady?
The Post Millenial reports:
According to The Sentinel, Michael Cassidy pushed over and decapitated the statue of Baphomet, which was placed in the building by members of the Satanic Temple of Iowa after receiving permission, and discarded the head of the statue into the trash.
Cassidy told the outlet that he destroyed the altar on Thursday to “awaken Christians to the anti-Christian acts promoted by our government.”
“The world may tell Christians to submissively accept the legitimization of Satan, but none of the founders would have considered government sanction of Satanic altars inside Capitol buildings as protected by the First Amendment,” Cassidy said. “Anti-Christian values have steadily been mainstreamed more and more in recent decades, and Christians have largely acted like the proverbial frog in the boiling pot of water.”
Cassidy turned himself in to officers who were present in the building, who confirmed that the Satanic Temple of Iowa seeks to press charges. Cassidy was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
“I saw this blasphemous statue and was outraged,” Cassidy said. “My conscience is held captive to the word of God, not to bureaucratic decree. And so I acted.”
Cassidy previously ran for Congress in Mississippi and served as a Navy pilot.
The display drew outrage, with Iowa Lawmaker saying, “I am calling for our governor to have this blasphemous display removed immediately based on the grounds that it is unconstitutional and offends God upon whom the State of Iowa depends for blessings.”
“I am calling for clarifying legislation to be adopted in accordance with our State Constitution that prohibits satanic displays in our Capitol building and on all state owned property. I am calling for legislation to be adopted that makes it legal to display the Ten Commandments in our Capitol, in all buildings owned by the state, and in our public schools.”
Is it just me or does this remind anyone else of the story of Dagon from 1 Samuel, chapters 5 and 6?
It’s like the Bible coming to life right before our eyes!
Do you know that story?
Here’s a quick summary:
In this story, the Philistines capture the Ark of the Covenant from the Israelites during a battle and take it to the temple of their god Dagon in the city of Ashdod. They place the Ark next to the idol of Dagon. The next morning, the Philistines find the statue of Dagon fallen face down before the Ark. They set it back in its place, but the following morning, they find it fallen again, this time with its head and hands broken off, lying on the threshold of the temple.
This incident, along with other calamities that befall the people of Ashdod, is interpreted as a sign of the power of the God of Israel and His displeasure at the Ark’s capture. As a result, the Philistines decide to return the Ark to the Israelites. This story is often cited as an example of the superiority of the God of Israel over other deities and as a demonstration of His power even in foreign lands.
And here is the full text from the Bible if you want to read it:
Capture of the Ark Provokes God
5 Now the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod. 2 Then the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it into the house of Dagon, and placed it beside Dagon. 3 When the Ashdodites got up early the next day, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and set him back in his place. 4 But when they got up early the next morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord. And the head of Dagon and both palms of his hands were cut off on the threshold; [a]only the torso of Dagon was left. 5 For that reason neither the priests of Dagon nor any who enter Dagon’s house step on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod to this day.
6 Now the hand of the Lord was heavy on the Ashdodites, and He made them feel devastated and struck them with tumors, both Ashdod and its territories. 7 When the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, “The ark of the God of Israel must not remain with us, because His hand is severe on us and on Dagon our god.” 8 So they sent word and gathered all the governors of the Philistines to them, and said, “What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel?” And they said, “Have the ark of the God of Israel [b]brought to Gath.” So they took the ark of the God of Israel away. 9 After they had taken it away, the hand of the Lord was against the city, creating a very great panic; and He struck the people of the city, from the young to the old, so that tumors broke out on them. 10 So they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And as the ark of God came to Ekron, the Ekronites cried out, saying, “They have brought the ark of the God of Israel to [c]us, to kill [d]us and [e]our people!” 11 Therefore they sent wordand gathered all the governors of the Philistines, and said, “Send away the ark of the God of Israel and let it return to its own place, so that it will not kill [f]us and [g]our people!” For there was a deadly panic throughout the city; the hand of God was very heavy there. 12 And the people who did not die were struck with tumors, and the outcry of the city went up to heaven.
The Ark Returned to Israel
6 Now the ark of the Lord had been in the territory of the Philistines for seven months. 2 And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, “What are we to do with the ark of the Lord? Tell us [h]how we may send it to its place.” 3 And they said, “If you are going to send the ark of the God of Israel away, do not send it empty; but you shall certainly return to Him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be revealed to you why His hand does not leave you.” 4 Then they said, “What is to be the guilt offering that we shall return to Him?” And they said, “Five gold tumors and five gold mice corresponding to the number of the governors of the Philistines, since one plague was on all of [i]you and on your governors.5 So you shall make likenesses of your tumors and likenesses of your mice that are ruining the land, and you shall give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps He will lighten His hand from you, your gods, and your land. 6 Why then do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When He had severely dealt with them, did they not let [j]the people go, and they left? 7 Now then, take and prepare a new cart and two milk cows on which there has never been a yoke; and hitch the cows to the cart and take their calves back home, away from them. 8 Then take the ark of the Lord and place it on the cart; and put the articles of gold which you return to Him as a guilt offering in a saddlebag by its side. Then send it away that it may go. 9 But watch: if it goes up by the way of its own territory to Beth-shemesh, then He has done this great evil to us. But if not, then we will know that it was not His hand that struck us; it happened to us by chance.”
10 Then the men did so: they took two milk cows and hitched them to the cart, and shut in their calves at home. 11 And they put the ark of the Lord on the cart, and the saddlebag with the gold mice and the likenesses of their tumors. 12 Now the cows went straight in the [k]direction of Beth-shemesh; they went on the same road, bellowing as they went, and did not turn off to the right or to the left. And the governors of the Philistines followed them to the border of Beth-shemesh.
13 Now the people of Beth-shemesh were gathering in their wheat harvest in the valley, and they raised their eyes and saw the ark, and rejoiced at seeing it. 14 And the cart came into the field of Joshua the Beth-shemite and stopped there where there was a large stone; and they split the wood of the cart and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the Lord. 15 And the Levites took down the ark of the Lord and the saddlebag that was with it, in which were the articles of gold, and put them on the large stone; and the men of Beth-shemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices that day to the Lord. 16 When the five governors of the Philistines saw it, they returned to Ekron that day.
17 Now these are the gold tumors which the Philistines returned as a guilt offering to the Lord: one for Ashdod, one for Gaza, one for Ashkelon, one for Gath, and one for Ekron; 18 and the gold mice, corresponding to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five governors, both of fortified cities and of country villages. The large [l]stone on which they placed the ark of the Lordis a witness to this day in the field of Joshua the Beth-shemite.
19 Now He fatally struck some of the men of Beth-shemesh because they had looked into the ark of the Lord. He struck 50,070 men among the people, and the people mourned because the Lord had struck the people with a great slaughter. 20 And the men of Beth-shemesh said, “Who is able to stand before the Lord, this holy God? And to whom will He go up from us?” 21 So they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kiriath-jearim, saying, “The Philistines have brought back the ark of the Lord; come down and take it up to yourselves.”
Now…if you want to go even DEEPER into the Bible, the story of Dagon is actually a great story about “Cosmic Geography” in the Bible.
Let me explain….
This is the Bible your pastor probably never taught you on Sunday morning, but it’s very real.
Dr. Heiser was famous for saying “I’ve never had an original thought in my life” meaning that all of his work is thoroughly sourced and credentialed by other scholars and by history.
That’s important.
I’m not interested in following someone who has created something “new” in Christianity, that’s very dangerous, but I am interested in learning from someone who says “this is what the Church taught for centuries until modern churches stopped teaching it.”
Now you’ve got my attention.
Heiser’s basic premise is if you ask a modern Christian “why is the world so messed up” they’d give you the normal answer: because sin entered the world through Adam and Even in the Garden of Eden.
But if you asked an ancient Israelite, they’d say there are three reasons!
Yes, you have the Garden of Eden event, thats #1.
But second, you have the Genesis 6:4 event where the Fallen Angels leave the spiritual realm, come to Earth, mate with women, and create the Nephilim, and it’s these Nephilim that become the Giant Clans through most of the Old Testament.
Look it up, it’s all in there.
The third event is the splitting up of Nations, which comes right after the Tower of Babel.
The Garden of Eden is taught in church a lot.
Genesis 6:4 is almost never taught in church, but we talk about it here.
But this third event is very rarely talked about.
Because it confuses pastors so they just skip over it.
It’s Deuteronomy 32:8 which reads:
8 When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, When He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the [c]children of Israel. 9 For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance.
Translation: that says God divided up the people of the world into Nations according to the “Sons of God” (i.e. the Principalities that Paul so often talks about in the New Testament).
These are real beings, and they were members of the Divine Council.
More on that in a moment.
Not co-equal gods, but certainly members of God’s council (something else almost never taught in church).
If you look at the footnote of the quoted text above, some translations translate it “children of Israel” because they are not comfortable with “Sons of God”, it creeps them out.
But look at the footnote Bible Gateway gives you on what the true language is:
Angels of God, or Sons of God.
The “DSS” refers to the Dead Sea Scrolls, which were only recently uncovered and which are widely believed by scholars to be one of the oldest and thus most reliable translations available.
That is the correct translation.
Then read verse 9: “But Israel is the LORD’s portion”.
In other words, let me sum it all up for you: God is angry with what people have done at Babel. They have not disbursed and spread out on the Earth the way he instructed them, so he divides them up into Nations and he assigns each a ruler — an Angel or a Son of God.
But God keeps Israel for himself so that in the event all other Nations become corrupt (and they do), he can still fulfill his original plan that he had in the Garden of Eden through Israel.
I hope you’re tracking with me, because you’re going to see the News in an entirely new light when you understand this.
It’s Ephesians 6:12: “12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
I know you’ve all read that verse many times, but does it make a lot more sense now?
Each Nation does indeed has a ruler over it, a “Principality”.
It’s Daniel 1013: “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days; but lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I remained there with the kings of Persia.”
I’m telling you, this stuff is all over your Bible, and once you start to see it and connect the dots, things come alive!
One more quote to pull it all home for you….
Psalm 82:
Psalm 82
A Plea for Justice
A Psalm of Asaph.
1 God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2 “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah 3 Give justice to the weak and the orphan; maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding; they walk around in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 I say, “You are gods, children of the Most High, all of you; 7 nevertheless, you shall die like mortals and fall like any prince.”[a]
8 Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations belong to you!
If anything I have said so far makes you nervous, understand this is ALL in your Bible.
Have you ever read Psalm 82?
It connects with everything I just told you.
YHWH takes his place in the Divine Council, in the midst of the gods he holds judgment!
Don’t be made at me, I didn’t write that….Jesus did! It’s in your Bible!
So does that mean we have multiple gods?
No.
But we do have multiple “Sons of God” that YHWH put on his Divine Council.
And you can’t read that to just be the Trinity because in the remainder of the Psalm, these other “gods” (Elohim, simply meaning spiritual beings created by God living in the spiritual realm) they all turn evil and go bad.
Psalm 82 is recounting what happens after Deuteronomy 32.
God assigned the Nations of the world each to one of his members of his Divine Council.
He trusted them to rule fairly and justly but they all turn corrupt.
Sound familiar?
So they face judgment and God/YWHW carries out his original plan through HIS PORTION, which is Israel.
That’s my effort to introduce this concept to you and for you to get a better understanding of what is happening with Israel right now on the world stage.
But of course Dr. Michael Heiser does it better than I ever could.
So for the visual learners out there, I have some videos for you.
The first is Dr. Heiser talking about this in a Q&A format:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiX4F_1gBuQ
If you loved that and want to go deeper, or if you’d prefer more of a teaching format over Q&A, I’ll give you the absolute best.
This is Dr. Heiser’s 4 Part Supernatual Seminar.
It covers everything I just told you but in much more detail and in the way only Dr. Heiser could do it.
Please enjoy — and if any of this is resonating with your spirit, please share this article to people, friends, family members, or even pastors, that might need to see it.

Here’s more of what I wrote earlier today on this topic, pointing you through a sea of lies to where the Biblical truth is found:
The USA Does Not Keep Israel, YHWH Does!
Time for a little heart check….
And a little Biblical teaching.
I want to clear up a couple things because I think right now we are fighting so much devious propaganda that it’s hard to know which was is up.
Anyone else feel like that?
They’ve boxed us into a corner, and that’s why I say this is the most sinister FF propaganda attack I have ever witnessed.
But it’s pretty simple to understand when you pause and lay it out.
Very simply, Ukraine is a massive money laundering operation.
We’ve covered that before.
That has now fallen apart.
First, the FTX part blew up.
Then, in recent weeks, public support for the continued funding of Ukraine has FINALLY dried up.
Fallen off a cliff, if you look at the statistics, and that’s for Conservatives and Liberals.
People are done with it.
So the “People Who Run The World” (as Roseanne calls them) needed a new way to feed their War Machine.
Because after all, the War Machine is where all the money comes from.
So they just made one simple switch:
Pictures always explain things better than words ever could, don’t they?
I actually have to applaud the genius of it.
What is the ONE country that Americans, and especially CONSERVATIVE Americans, will always support?
Israel.
So you swap out Ukraine for Israel and all of a sudden you get nonsense like this:
I have been very vocal the last few days about pointing this out and saying what I believe is the very natural, Constitutional and common sense statement: “NO MORE FUNDING TO ANY COUNTRY OTHER THAN THE USA!”
Do you know how much money we’ve spent to help Maui?
$700 per household.
And yet Billions upon Billions went to Ukraine and now soon will be going to Israel.
But in speaking out against using American tax dollars to fund the world, some think I am anti-Israel and that’s where I need to do some clarification and some Biblical teaching.
Why do I have a flaming fire at the top of this article?
Because I need to introduce you to someone named YHWH: “For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God” (Deuteronomy 4:23-24).
And do you know what the Bible says about Israel?
It says a lot.
But it makes one thing very clear….
It never says the United States of America is to keep Israel safe, to be it’s protector.
Sorry folks, not in the Bible.
No, it’s much better than that!
Much more powerful!
Read Deuteronomy 32:9 — “Israel is the LORD’s portion…”
He divided up all the nations and gave them to the Sons of God, but Israel he kept for himself.
Biblical scholars call it “Cosmic Geography”.
Read Psalm 121:
Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; 8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
It is the LORD who keeps Israel and watches over Israel, and he isn’t slumbering or sleeping.
He’s still on the throne, and spoiler alert, he doesn’t need a bunch of corrupt War-Mongering politicians from America to help him out!
So let’s be very clear….
I support and honor Israel.
But I am not Israel’s defender, and neither is America.
That cheapens the role the Bible assigns to YHWH and I’m not all that interesting in trying to usurp his role.
It’s why I wrote this earlier this morning:
Time to clear something up.
Do I support Israel? Absolutely!
Always have, always will.
But understand you are currently in the midst of the most devious FF propaganda event I have ever witnessed.
Ukraine support finally waned after 2 years. But many in America will support…

Time to clear something up.
Do I support Israel? Absolutely!
Always have, always will.
But understand you are currently in the midst of the most devious FF propaganda event I have ever witnessed.
Ukraine support finally waned after 2 years. But many in America will support Israel forever, until we are broke and desolute.
I bless Israel, I would never curse Israel. But understand the USA does not “keep” Israel. The Bible says GOD keeps Israel, and he neither slumbers nor sleeps. Read Psalm 121:4.
The USA is not Israel’s keeper.
Israel belongs to YHWH. Read Deuteronomy 32:9-19. Israel is the LORD’s portion.
USA does not guard Israel, The Most High does.
