Hell Freezes Over? Unlikely Figure Defends Trump 2024 Ballot!

Wow, I never thought I would see the day, yet here we are.

California Governor Gavin Newsom has long been a vocal critic of President Trump; this is no secret to anyone reading this.

However, amid the 14th Amendment war currently raging throughout the country, Newsom has come to the aid of President Trump.

That’s right, I think hell might have actually frozen over. Do I believe Newsom is doing the right thing for the sake of justice or principles? Nope!

I believe that Newsom is a shrewd and politically savvy man who is cold and calculated.

He likely knows that all this 14th Amendment nonsense will backfire spectacularly. That’s why he’s having no part of it. He also may be running for President.

Chuck Callesto writes: “This decision is currently on hold while awaiting a definitive verdict from the Supreme Court. Several other states, including New York, are now considering the possibility of excluding Trump from their ballots.”

Collin Rugg provided this statement from the California Governor: “There is no doubt that Donald Trump is a threat to our liberties and even to our democracy. But in California, we defeat candidates at the polls. Everything else is a political distraction.”

The New York Post provided this statement from the California Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis:

“I urge you to explore every legal option to remove former President Donald Trump from California’s 2024 presidential primary ballot,” Kounalakis wrote to Secretary of State Shirley Weber.

This statement from Newsom followed a recent effort made by California Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis to remove President Trump from the ballot.

Months before the Colorado ruling was handed down, a group of Democratic state legislators urged California Attorney General Rob Bonta to use his powers to expedite a ruling on whether Trump was ineligible to appear on the ballot.
