The House of Representatives has formally authorized an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden on December 13, 2023.
The vote was 221-212 along party lines, with all Republicans supporting the inquiry and all Democrats opposing it.
The resolution directs the Judiciary, Oversight, and Ways and Means Committees to investigate whether there are grounds for impeachment.
