Well, this is quite the allegation, but I wouldn’t doubt it being true.
GOP lawmakers are reportedly furious with Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell for allegedly conspiring with Hunter Biden’s lawyers to help Hunter dodge his Congressional subpoena.
At this time, there is no evidence that Swalwell did conspire with Hunter Biden’s attorney or in any way help him to escape his private deposition, merely a hunch on the part of lawmakers.
However, Republican representatives are currently inquiring and may take action against Swalwell if he is found to have been aiding Hunter Biden. How that reprisal looks, if one ever comes at all, remains to be seen.

Eric Swalwell assisted Hunter Biden in avoiding the deposition subpoena issued by the House Judiciary Committee.

Rep. Darrell Issa told Daily Mail:
‘If it’s true that he did it, he has aided and abetted the jurisdiction of this body,’ Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., a member of the Judiciary Committee, told DailyMail.com.
‘He’s a member of this committee, he’s aware of it,’ said Issa, calling it ‘at minimum an ethics violation’ that could prompt a formal complaint.
Swalwell has been one of the most outspoken critics of the GOP and their quest to impeach Joe Biden. On numerous occasions, he has come to the defense of both Hunter Biden and Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden pulled off his surprise appearance at the Capitol on Wednesday morning with the help of a fellow California resident: Eric Swalwell.
The Democratic lawmaker confirmed to POLITICO that he reserved the “Senate Swamp” — a spot mere feet from the Capitol that often hosts press conferences — for Hunter Biden’s dramatic remarks.
TV cameras spotted Swalwell beside the president’s son as Hunter Biden sought to go on offense against the House GOP.
