‘He Can Have Job I’m Looking For’, Joe Biden Says About Gavin Newsom [WATCH]

Did Joe Biden say the quiet part out loud?

Gavin Newsom can have his job?

While speaking at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, Joe Biden starting talking about Gov. Newsom.

“I want to thank him. He’s been one h*** of a governor, man,” Biden said at the San Francisco conference.

“Matter of fact, he can be anything he wants, he could have the job I’m looking for,” he continued.

From the New York Post:

Newsom has long been mentioned as a potential Biden primary challenger — or replacement — as he ramped up his national profile.

He made headlines last month when he went on a week-long trip to China to speak with President Xi Jinping ahead of the APEC conference.

The governor told reporters the purpose of the trip was for “turning the page, of renewing our friendship and re-engaging (on) foundational and fundamental issues that will determine our collective faith in the future.”

At a press conference, Newsom also said he and Xi discussed ways to “accelerate our progress on climate in meaningful and substantive ways.”

Newsom is also set later this month to debate his Florida Republican counterpart, Ron DeSantis, after months of sniping.

Newsom has denied he’s considering a 2024 presidential bid.

However, many people have speculated the California governor is running a shadow campaign.

Democrat Senator John Fetterman accused Newsom of secretly running for president.

“There are two additional Democrats running for president right now. One is the Congressman from Minnesota and the other one is the governor of California,” Fetterman said.

They’re both running for president, but only one had the guts to announce it,” he added.

Could Newsom pursue Joe Biden's job without entering the Democrat Primary?

According to Techno Fog, rules adopted by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) could allow California Gov. Gavin Newsom to win the Democrat Party’s nomination without winning the primary.

“The attacks on Biden from the Democrat Establishment coincide with the ascent of Gavin Newsom. How could the DNC avoid a messy primary and nominate their preferred candidate (Newsom)? It’s in the fine print,” Techno Fog wrote.
