18 states have come to the aid of President Trump in opposing the clearly unconstitutional gag order against him.
The gag order was reinstated by Judge Tanya Chutkan and all of the Soros-aligned prosecutors against the 45th President have voiced unwavering support for gagging the former President.
Clearly, this is wrong. How can they put a man on trial and force him not to speak about it? Is this the monarchy of King George or is it America?
How is anyone cheering for this? I hate most politicians on the local, state, and federal levels in America.
I legitimately believe they should be tried for treason in a court of law and then put to death when they are inevitably found guilty of betraying the country and her people for petty personal gain.
Even I would not support removing the freedom of speech from these people and I despise them from the bottom of my heart.
Freedom of speech is a God-given right. It is absolute and no one can take it from another—especially in matters of defense. Only an unjust coward gags their enemies.
Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird exclaimed: “All Americans have the right to free speech & that includes Donald Trump! Restricting a political candidate’s free speech while they run for office is a dangerous precedent & a disservice to American voters. But we’re pushing back!”

Daily Caller provided a list of the states who filed a brief:
The states that joined Iowa and West Virginia include Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Utah.
America First Legal also filed a brief demanding that the First Amendment rights of the former President be upheld.
The pro-America entity explained: “This case arises from an unprecedented gag order issued by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s politically-motivated prosecution of Former President Trump in Washington, D.C.
The gag order prevents the President from making public statements that target the Special Counsel or his staff, public statements that target any reasonably foreseeable witnesses or the substance of their testimony, and directing others to make any public statements about either of those two categories.
This absurd gag order is just another example of the Biden administration unjustly using its power to silence its political opponents and to attempt to prevent President Trump from speaking.”

/6 The gag order sharply curtails President Trump’s ability to engage in core political speech and political association, thereby limiting his ability to keep both the Special Counsel and the President “accountable . . . to his country in his political character.”

/9 America First Legal is proud to support President Trump’s right to free speech and will continue to be vocal against the Biden Administration’s weaponization of the Department of Justice and the federal government at large.

According to CNN:
In denying Trump’s request to pause the gag order while his appeal of it plays out, Chutkan said in part last month that “the First Amendment rights of participants in criminal proceedings must yield, when necessary, to the orderly administration of justice.”
