President Trump’s Sister Judge Maryanne Trump Barry Passes Away At 86

The older sister of President Trump, Judge Maryanna Trump Barry, was found deceased in her apartment at 86 years old.

No foul play is suspected at this time.

Maryanne Trump Barry was a former federal appellate judge.

Fox News has more on the tragic passing:

Maryanne Trump Barry, the older sister of former President Donald Trump, has died Monday at the age of 86, the New York City Police Department has confirmed to Fox News.

Barry was a former federal appellate judge who retired in April 2019, according to the New York Times.

In 2016, Trump called his sister a “highly respected judge” while noting they disagree on public policy issues.

CNBC has more on the life of Maryanne Trump Barry:

Barry was appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1999 by then-President Bill Clinton. She largely avoided the spotlight that was constantly pointed at her brother, first as a television host and business personality and then as the president of the United States.

She spent two decades on the Philadelphia-based appeals court before retiring in the midst of a civil misconduct investigation related to her family’s alleged tax-dodging schemes.
