‘Pothole Pete’ Gets Slapped With New Bill!

Pothole Pete? That’s what I am going to start calling him!

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene recently introduced a bill to limit ‘Secretary of Transportation,’ and believe me I use the term incredibly lightly, Pete Buttigieg’s salary to just one dollar.

She cited his incredible bureaucratic waste of funds and the fact that he isn’t accomplishing much—I mean really, how many train derailments have we had now under his not-so-watchful eye?

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene incorrectly announced that her amendment would fire Buttigieg; however, the rest of what she had to say was spot on:

“I’m proud to announce my amendment to FIRE Pete Buttigieg just PASSED the House.

Pothole Pete staged fake bike rides to the White House and used private planes funded by taxpayers to receive awards for the way certain people have sex. American taxpayers should not be on the hook for paying for his lavish trips or his salary.”

The Hill provided more details:

“Pete Buttigieg doesn’t do his job. It’s all about fake photo ops and taxpayer-funded private jet trip to accept LGBTQ awards for him,” Greene posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“I’m happy my amendment passed, but he doesn’t deserve a single penny.”

The underlying bill needs to be approved by the full House and is unlikely to be approved by the Senate.

Collin Rugg echoed MTG: “The amendment, which was introduced by Marjorie Taylor Greene, was brought forward due to Buttigieg’s failure to “serve the American people.” MTG specifically pointed to how Buttigieg staged fake bike rides.”

Journalist Savanah Hernandez had this to say: “The House just approved an amendment to cut Pete Buttigieg’s salary to $1. After confronting him in East Palestine and his press secretary telling me I was “aggressive” for asking questions on behalf of the American people, all I have to say is this is 10/10 deserved.”

Fox News noted:

The bill — which was introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga. — was passed via voice vote Tuesday as an amendment to the 2024 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act, the standalone funding bill for the General Services Administration, Securities and Exchange Commission and other related agencies.
