President Trump Might Be Getting GREAT News From Judge Cannon Soon!

Judge Cannon, overseeing the Trump Mar-a-Lago classified documents case, appears to be considering postponing the trial to a later date.

Judge Cannon doesn’t think it is viable for President Trump’s team to be adequately prepared for the trial, given the number of other course cases he is currently involved in.

This move would damper special counsel Jack Smith’s operation to seemingly take down President Trump before the presidential election.

CNN shares more on the story:

During a hearing Wednesday in south Florida, US District Judge Aileen Cannon raised concerns that the defense team wouldn’t be able to complete trial preparations between now and the spring as they handle other cases for Trump and a stacked trial schedule.

“I’m having a hard time seeing how this work can be accomplished realistically in this period of time,” Cannon said.

Cannon told Justice Department prosecutor Jay Bratt, who asked to keep the trial schedule as is: “I’m not seeing in your position a level of understanding to these realities.”

Cannon did not issue a ruling in court on Wednesday.

In addition to questioning the defense team’s access to evidence in the case, Cannon repeatedly questioned if the current trial schedule would unfairly bump up against the federal election interference trial of Trump, which is set for March in Washington, DC.

Trump’s lawyers have repeatedly complained to the judge in the Mar-a-Lago criminal document-mishandling case that they haven’t had proper access to classified evidence in the case as they prepare for a trial next May.

Do you want to know what’s funny (and sad)?

Judge Cannon seems to be the only judge looking over President Trump’s cases that doesn’t have some vendetta against him.

She has treated this case fairly.

And the response to that?

People are saying that President Trump is paying her off.

Jack Smith isn’t going to be happy!

ABC News broke a story that President Trump and his team have been given access to review classified evidence in the case.

Read more on the story here:

According to public court filings, the material in the classified discovery includes “classified documents that had been stored at Mar-a-Lago as well as other classified material generated or obtained in the Government’s investigation, including documents related to witness interviews such as reports and transcripts.”

It’s standard procedure for defendants charged with illegal retention of national defense information to be able to review the classified evidence gathered against them, while adhering to a strict set of standards and rules barring them from disclosing that information.

Trump pleaded not guilty in June to 37 criminal counts related to his handling of classified materials, after prosecutors said he repeatedly refused to return hundreds of documents containing classified information ranging from U.S. nuclear secrets to the nation’s defense capabilities, and took steps to thwart the government’s efforts to get the documents back. His longtime aide, Walt Nauta, also pleaded not guilty to related charges.

It might be assumed that President Trump’s team had the chance to look at the documents and knew there was no way they could prepare appropriately in time.

All of these cases should be handled after the 2024 election.

All of these prosecutors put off these trials till now because they knew it would interfere with President Trump’s campaign.

Despite all of this, support for President Trump continues to grow!
