WATCH: Josh Hawley EXPOSES DHS Secretary Mayorkas

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas spoke at a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing on October 31st, which revealed some disturbing facts about the agency.

Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri verbally attacked Secretary Mayorkas over seemingly hiring Pro-Hamas activists at his agency.

This is the same man who is responsible for our security. He shows no remorse nor care about his employee's remarks.

Here, you can see Sen. Hawley mention the postings of an employee who had made disturbing content in support of the terrorist organization.

What happens next is baffling.

Secretary Mayorkas attempts to defend himself by stating his mother is a holocaust survivor.

Ignore the lame caption that the poster included.

What I think is interesting about this response is that Secretary Mayorkas completely hides behind the fact that his mom is a Holocaust survivor.

Who cares what your background is?

That does not excuse the fact that there were active terrorist supporters employed within the DHS.

Hawley opened his line of questioning with concerns about a rank-and-file employee within the Citizenship and Immigration Services, a DHS agency, who had made social media posts celebrating the Hamas attack on Israel in October.

“‘F Israel, the government and its military. Are you ready for your downfall?'” Hawley said as he read an Instagram post by USCIS employee Nejwa Ali, who previously worked for the Palestinian Liberation Organization.

Mayorkas called Ali’s longer statement “odious” and said that it did not rise to the level of terrorist ideology or speech.

“She also posted this graphic. This is a famous graphic, I want to be clear, but I think we understand it. This is a paraglider, a Hamas paraglider depicted here, with a machine gun flying into Israel. She posted it under her online alias with the celebratory Free Palestine,” Hawley said. “Mr. Secretary, what, what’s going on here? Is this, is this typical of people who work at DHS? This is an asylum and immigration officer who is posting these frankly pro-genocidal slogans and images on the day that Israelis are being slaughtered in their beds.”

The people in the DHS are the people who are supposed to be defending America, right?

Or am I mistaken?

Perhaps being a terrorist sympathizer is okay when it comes to serving this country.

Mayorkas and the DHS have done nothing to preserve the integrity of this country.

Check out what the Daily Mail says about the number of migrants that Mayorkas revealed entered the U.S.:

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed on Tuesday that 600,000 migrants evaded apprehension this year alone as they illegally crossed the border into the U.S.

Additionally, Mayorkas did not have information readily available on whether the 169 terror watch list members who illegally crossed the southern border were in jail or deported.

Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) asked President Joe Biden‘s DHS head during a hearing Tuesday the recorded number of illegal border crossers who were able to evade his agents in the last year. He also asked about the status of terror watch list individuals.

‘I believe that number is over 600,000,’ Mayorkas told senators Tuesday at a hearing on threats to the American home front.

‘The phenomenon of got-aways has been a challenge for the Department of Homeland Security for decades,’ he added. ‘In fact, it is a powerful example of a broken immigration system.’

The DHS and the rest of the Democrats are letting this country fall to ruin.

Why is it?

Do they hate this country so much they want it to fail?

Or are they hoping that they can seize control in the chaos?
