Ron DeSantis CONFRONTED About Wearing “Boots With Heels”

We’ve been waiting for this one for a while….

Ron DeSantis finally visits Patrick Bet-David on the Valuetainment Podcast!

This was interesting on so many levels….

First, because other candidates have already come in, and Vivek even did a Town Hall over there, which was very big.

Second, because PBD has been openly critical of the DeSantis campaign — not necessarily of DeSantis himself, but of how his team is running his campaign.

I agree on both points.

Third, while it’s not uncommon for guests to do 2 or 3 hours on PBD’s podcast, it was clear that Ron only allowed them one hour, which I find fascinating.

That’s obviously a play to keep things very contained and limit risk, but that’s essentially the main criticism people have about Ron — he’s not an Alpha.  He’s not decisive.  He responds rather than leads.  He plays defense rather than offense.

But to his credit I think he did a fantastic job in this interview.

But you know who did even better?

Patrick Bet-David.

He was fair, but he did NOT hold back, even asking Ron point-blank about his boots and whether they have lifts in them!

Wow!

Then PBD pushes it even more and tells the Governor he bought him a pair of Ferragamo’s and Ron gets very nervous: “I can’t accept gifts [in a nasally Alfred E. Newmann voice]”.”

Watch:

So obviously Ron was concerned PBD would ask him to try on the Ferragamo’s and then compare his height against Ron in the boots.

Yikes.

Look, no one cares how tall Ron is, but if it’s true that the boots have lifts in them, what other insecurities is he holding?

Is that what we want in the leader of the free world?

I don’t know.

The entire interview was great, and I do have to say Ron had some great answers.

Look, Ron isn’t a villain, but he made some fatal mistakes in this campaign, including the mistake of showing zero loyalty to the guy who got him elected Governor the first time.

And PBD did an excellent job addressing all of those issues.

It’s a great interview, please enjoy:

For more on DeSantis, including why I think he’s too-often “fake”, keep reading….

Ron DeSantis Tries To Go “Tough Guy”

“To thine own self be true”.

I believe that was Shakespeare who wrote that?

Good advice.

In other words: just be authentic.  Just be you!

Trump has ALWAYS been himself, whether you like him or not.

He’s consistent.

He has an internal compass and internal set of beliefs that governs how he sees the world and how he reacts to it.

He’s never trying to be act a certain way, he just “acts like Trump” and you can like that or dislike it.

But Ronald DeSantis feels like he doesn’t have his own identity.

It’s not that he’s missing a moral compass, he does seem deep down to be a “good guy”.

He’s just not a leader.

He’s always trying to put on a persona.

The latest?

Someone must have told him he needs to act tough, and the worst thing you can ever do to a Beta is to tell them to “act tough”.

Because it all just goes so wrong.

They try and huff and puff themselves up and they get all red and blotchy in the face and they’re clearly outside of their comfort zone.

DeSantis Twitter is celebrating this clip and Ron showing his toughness….

I just see it as Ron once again trying to play pretend.

Watch and decide for yourself — genuine moment where Ron’s indignation rose up and he couldn’t hold himself back anymore, or pretend tough guy?

It’s not the first time we’ve seen DeSantis trying to display different emotions.

Below you can see him trying to “be cool drinking a beer”.

It goes about as badly as that time Elizabeth Warren thanked her husband for “being here” in their kitchen on a Friday night in that infamous home video.

Take a look:

CRINGE: Ron DeSantis Tries To Be Cool Drinking A Beer

Why is everything with this guy so CRINGE?

And so fake?

His voice is nasally and cringe…

His laugh is super cringe…

And his act of constantly trying to be cool and trying to portray himself as an Alpha is the most cringe of all.

Ron, you just don’t have it bud.

You’re on the fast track to RINO Town and we don’t want that or need that.

We have Trump.

Then we have Kari Lake.

Then we’ll find someone else after those two have saved the country.

We damn sure don’t need you.

So take your staged little Hey-I’m-Just-Like-You-I’m-Drinking-A-Beer-Elizabeth-Warren-Fake-Moment and hit the bricks bud.

This is lame:

“We’re gonna get it done….YUP we’re gonna get it done!”

So Beta.

So staged.

People don’t want this fake staged RINO crap anymore.

Your campaign is bleeding money, firing multiple staffers…

You’re a distant third in the polls….

Go back to Florida and run that state like Trump helped you get elected to do Ron.

We don’t need or want you on the national stage.

I’m DONE with “fake ass” politicians and this guy is super fake.

And when he’s not fake he’s “cringe”.

But hey, actually maybe I need to back up a second and perhaps I’m wrong…

Could be.

Let’s go to the replies to that beer Tweet and see if people are supporting Ron.

Ok, first up:

Oops!

Ok, could very well be a fluke.

Let’s try another:

YIKES!

Go home Meatball!

Ok, then we have this:

Oh no, they’re bringing up the laugh….

Let’s try another:

Crap, the laugh again!

This guy just says “This is so sad” — I agree Fletch:

And for anyone who didn’t understand the Elizabeth Warren reference, let’s take a wonderful walk down Memory Lane to one of my all time favorite moments:

Watch this glorious clip right here:

Backup saved to Rumble here:

Of course Fox News also ripped the video calling her “Inauthentic in everything she does”.

SO FAKE.

So staged.

Just like DeSantis….

I mean, don’t they feel almost like carbon copies?

Need to humanize your Fake-Ass political candidate?  PR-101: get them on tape drinking a beer!

See!

They’re just like you and me.

So fake.

I love the line: “hold on just a minute, I’m gonna get me a beer.”

Whatever PR Hack wrote that script really went above and beyond.

I guarantee you Elizabeth Warren has never said “I’m gonna get me a ____” in her life.

But they even tried to dumb down her speech to show she’s just a regular gal drinking a beer in her kitchen!

She’s so normal!

So relatable!

JUST LIKE DESANTIS!

Please.

Excuse me while I 🤮🤮🤮.

Of course the best part of the whole video is when her husband just casually strolls by, definitely not preplanned and scripted, and she thanks him “for being here”.

Thanks for being here?

In his own kitchen on a Friday night?

Where else should he be Liz?

If it weren’t so hilarious it would be maddening.

But it is hilarious.

Anyway….back to Ronald.

So basically DeSantis fluctuates from being FAKE to being CRINGE.

Which version do you like best?

The CRINGE is hard to take for too long, which is probably why they rely on FAKE so much.

And speaking of, have you seen this?

DIRTY: Ron DeSantis SuperPAC Running Fake “AI” Lying Ad Against Trump

I know some of you love Ron DeSantis.

He’s done some good things in Florida.

He should stay in Florida and do well for that State that elected him.

He should stay there and be glad Trump helped him overcome a terrible campaign he ran for Governor.

He should remember Trump’s extreme help in getting him to that role.

Instead he chose to forget all of that and think he could “take on Trump”.

Bad move.

So I’m not a big fan.

I value loyalty above most all else, and so does Trump.

But the other reason I’m not a fan is because of his horrible nasally voice and Beta Male personality.

Here’s the thing with Beta Males…

They’re always out of sync.

They’re always TRYING to act like what they THINK a leader acts like.

An Alpha isn’t trying to emulate anything.

An Alpha just acts instinctually and genuinely.

Oh you might not always like everything they do and they can be tough around the edges, but they’re usually genuine and true to themselves and consistent.

Notable Alphas include:

Donald J. Trump

Kari Lake

For those of you who have watched Succession, Logan Roy is about as Alpha as they get.

Those are Alphas.

Betas include:

Ronald DeSantis

Jeb Bush

You get the idea.

Betas are always doing all the wrong things at all the wrong times.

They trying to muster up bluster, thinking it’s what a true leader would do, but it just comes off looking and sounding “fake”.

They often get red and splotchy in the neck.

Their speech and timing is all off and awkward.

Pair that with a nasally voice and you’ve got major CRINGE.

So why do I tell you all of that?

Because like I said, they’re always doing the wrong things at the wrong times thinking it’s what a true leader would do.

They don’t know leadership…

It’s not inherently within them….

They’re just trying to emulate what they think it should look like.

And so they go off and do stupid things like what I’m about to show you.

To be fair, this is not Ron DeSantis himself, but one of his Super PACs.

Check out how lame this is….they created a Fake AI video of Donald Trump saying something he never said.

Not even remotely close.

But they created it and then tried to pass it off as if Trump had said it and they then turned it into an attack ad.

Now do you see why I don’t like this DeSanctus guy?

Donald Trump has many faults (we all do) but one thing he is very good at is judging character and often judging it very early.

He nailed DeSantis early on and even when people didn’t understand it, it turns out he was right.

Look at this:

Folks, understand that is completely FAKE.

Trump never said that.

Alpha Kari Lake immediately called it out:

The ad was released by “Never Back Down”.

Even that stupid name for a Super PAC is such a Beta name.

It’s what a Beta THINKS a good slogan would be.

So lame:

From Politico:

A pro-Ron DeSantis super PAC uses an Artificial Intelligence version of Donald Trump’s voice in a new television ad attacking the former president.

The ad, from Never Back Down, charges Trump with attacking Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds as part of a larger pattern of disrespect he has shown to the first caucus state.

But the audio that the spot uses is not actually from Trump. A person familiar with the ad confirmed Trump’s voice was AI generated. Its content appears to be based off of a post that Trump made on his social media site Truth Social last week. The person said it will run statewide in Iowa tomorrow and that the ad buy was at least $1 million — a massive sum though one doable for the well-heeled super PAC. It will also be running via text message and on digital platforms.

Political ads have used impersonation before, and the Trump-generated voice in the Never Back Down ad does not sound entirely natural. Still, the spot highlights what could be the next frontier of campaign advertising: The use of AI-generated content to produce increasingly difficult to identify, so-called deepfakes.

I have to end with this:

So funny!

As they said, DeSantis struck first so all is fair game LOL!

At least this one is clearly disclosed as a fake, right?

The Left (and DeSantis) can’t meme.

Team Trump can.

Meanwhile, have you seen this?

Ron DeSantis Is Trending For All The Wrong Reasons…

When you’re running for President, you want to get attention.

Trending online is great!

Unless….it’s for a bad reason.

Unless you’re having your Howard Dean moment.

Do you remember when that happened?

If you don’t remember or never saw it, you’re in for a treat.

This is not even a human sound, I have no idea how he did this.

When it’s called “THE Scream” you know that’s very bad for you.

Watch here:

Oddly enough, that happened in Iowa and Ron DeSantis may have just had his Howard Dean moment….also in Iowa.

Let’s start with the pictures, because they’re bad enough.

Here is Ron DeSantis laughing:

It was immediately mocked online:

And:

And:

Ok, so that’s….odd, right?

But maybe it’s just a bad still frame.

We all look bad in pictures sometimes.

Maybe the video will be better.

😬

Nope!

This is not normal:

Me too Brian:

This one was funny:
