It’s so sweet and hilarious when they get a taste of their own medicine and the left eats their own.
If Pete Buttigieg or any other liberal smarmy was serious about solving the purported ‘climate crisis’, they would support nuclear power, end the system of fiat money printing by the Federal Reserve, and cease to support foreign wars.
Digging up rare earth minerals out of the ground to use for a limited time only and then discarding them is not green. Nuclear power and other forms of particle energies are.
A mineral fuel and a fossil fuel are not much different from one another.
Still, this has not stopped progressives and climate activists from pushing for the complete electrification of cars, all while dancing around the elephant in the room—that elephant is nuclear power.
Our readers have no doubt seen the various climate protests all over the world in which self-righteous activists block roads, defile priceless art, and storm press events to push their point.
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg recently got a taste of this medicine at one of his press events when climate activists stormed the podium and chased Buttigieg off stage.
Will Hild pointed out the irony: “Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg — who’s best known for taking his private jet across the country to lecture Americans about the “climate crisis” and “racist roads” — had an event that he was speaking at shut down by climate activists.”

According to OAN:
One of the climate activists addressed Buttigieg directly, calling on him to reject two proposed oil transport projects — the Sea Port Oil Terminal and Texas GulfLink — which are under review by his agency’s Maritime Administration.
“Your DOT just approved the Seaport Oil Terminal, a project that will have 80 coal plants worth of greenhouse gas emissions and will worsen air quality in areas that already live in cancer clusters.
This is about environmental racism and it’s about the climate impacts this project will have,” the unidentified protestor said.
Climate Defiance claimed responsibility for the incident: “We just chased Secretary Pete Buttigieg off the stage at the Meyerhoff Symphony. Petro Pete is a coward. As we write he is ramming down our throats the Sea Port and GulfLink oil terminals – each worse than Keystone. We must resist him with all we’ve got. And we will.”

Relatedly there are now over half a million people who have seen our new nickname for the Secretary, Petro Pete. The action worked *exactly* as intended. (2/8)

This wasn’t the only time Buttigieg was confronted by climate protestors, as per this previous Fox News report:
The protesters – who said they were with a group called the New Hampshire Youth Movement – held up signs that read “Pete takes money from fossil fuel billionaires” and chanted, “We are fighting for our future and together we are strong.”
