Everyone knows that Democrat-run cities are not models of safety or well-being.
No one knows this more than the residents of Washington D.C., who have seen violent crime wave after violent crime wave devastate the administrative city.
This week a Congressional Democrat got a taste of his party’s policy decisions when he was carjacked at gunpoint in Washington D.C.
Rep. Henry Cuellar was unharmed during the carjacking incident and has since spoken to the media about his unfortunate encounter with the armed criminals.
Cuellar had reportedly joined his fellow Democrats in voting for lighter sentences for carjacking—now conservative pundits are grilling the Rep and Democrats over their failed policies.
In a recent exchange between White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, the famed reporter pressed the Secretary on Democrat-run, crime-infested cities like Washington:
Breitbart had more on Rep. Henry Cuellar’s unfortunate carjacking incident:
“As Congressman Cuellar was parking his car this evening, 3 armed assailants approached the Congressman and stole his vehicle,” Cuellar’s chief of staff Jacob Hochberg said in a statement.
“Luckily, he was not harmed and is working with local law enforcement.
Thank you to Metro PD and Capitol Police for their swift action and for recovering the Congressman’s vehicle.”
C-Span provided a synopsis of the incident: “Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) briefly recounted his experience being carjacked in Washington, DC’s Navy Yard neighborhood. He said there were three assailants with guns who stole his car, and he said the incident was proof there should be better support for law enforcement.”

Mike Cernovich didn’t spare Henry Cuellar: “I won’t pretend to feel sorry for a powerful Democrat, Rep. Henry Cuellar, who wanted law enforcement resources devoted to persecuting J6 defendants, choosing to allow murder and mayhem to terrorize black DC residents. This was HIS CHOICE.”

Fox News featured this statement from Cuellar:
“You got to support law enforcement. And I’ve been doing that for a long time.
ADVERTISEMENTI have three brothers who are peace officers,” he added. “I do want to thank the Capitol Police and I certainly want to thank the Metro Police.
I’m a big law enforcement person. I got three boys in law enforcement. So I certainly appreciate the good work that the police did.”
