Elon Musk is making some critical cuts to the X social media staff.
The tech billionaire reduced the election ‘misinformation’ team by more than half and cited ‘undermining election integrity’ as the reason the team has been reduced, Musk told X News Daily in this post:
Oh you mean the “Election Integrity” Team that was undermining election integrity? Yeah, they’re gone.

I found it extremely telling that Adam Schiff had to insert himself in the conversation with this post to Elon Musk’s X platform:
“Elon Musk just fired half of the Election Integrity Team at X. Allowing election misinformation to fester on this platform opens our democracy up to further attack and disinformation. But Elon seems fine with that.”

According to The New York Post:
X cut four election integrity staffers, including the team’s head, based in Ireland, UPI reported citing a report from The Information.
ADVERTISEMENTThe social media platform’s executives told the team in Dublin that “having integrity employees based in Europe wasn’t necessary,” the outlet reported, citing three people familiar with the matter.
Leftists overwhelmingly decried the move to remove election censors from the social media platform and support for the move occurred along political lines.

Of course Elon has done this… Twitter fires its "Election Integrity Team" ahead of the 2024 elections. Elon Musk seems to have no problem with misinformation and how it might adversely affect democracy. https://t.co/pIhIVDufZs

Sky News reports:
The tool to report misinformation has been taken away – except for in the European Union – prompting concern from thinktank Reset Australia ahead of the country’s aboriginal rights referendum next month.
