The United States Customs and Border Patrol has confirmed that there have been three confirmed cases of tuberculosis among migrants at the southern border in El Paso, Texas.
Griff Jenkins confirmed the confirmed cases on X and tweeted “BP sources confirm to FOX News that there are ** three confirmed cases of Tuberculosis ** among migrants in the El Paso sector… further complicating the already daunting task of managing an overwhelming number arriving daily.”
The CDC reported in 2022 the United States saw a major uptick in TB cases and many doctors believe it’s due to the increase of migrants crossing the southern border.
