Democrats Forming New “Army of Green Shirts”

Senator Ed Markey and Representative Ocasio-Cortez have banded together to create their new “army of green shirts.”

Democrat’s newest way to waste money and continue to spread the false narrative of climate change is through the newly created Civilian Climate Corp (CCC).

How is this possible, you may ask?

Biden has issued an executive order that bypasses both houses of Congress that establish this.

Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), two of Congress’s most vocal proponents for aggressive climate action, on Monday called for President Biden to establish a Civilian Climate Corps (CCC).

The CCC had been a key element in early versions of the Build Back Better Act, the sweeping environmental and infrastructure bill. It was not ultimately included in the slimmed-down Inflation Reduction Act, which nonetheless was the largest climate bill in U.S. history.

Biden was a vocal backer of the CCC early in his presidency, comparing it to the Civilian Conservation Corps introduced during the presidency of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The original legislation called for $10 billion to launch the program.

In the letter, timed to the 30th anniversary of the bill that created Americorps, Ocasio-Cortez and Markey cited polling indicating the idea has more than 60 percent support. The two have also reintroduced a bill to establish a corps legislatively, though the measure will almost certainly not be given a vote in the Republican-majority House.

The government wasn’t already burning through cash with the war in Ukraine, so now they must find another way to waste the taxpayer’s money.

The Press Democrat has more information on the situation:

The Sunrise Movement and other climate activists, including many young adults, were outraged this spring after Biden approved the huge Willow oil-drilling project in Alaska. Opponents say the project and others approved by Biden put his climate legacy at risk and are a breach of his 2020 campaign promise to stop new oil drilling on federal lands.

Those concerns were put aside, for now, as environmental activists hailed the new jobs program, which is modeled after the Civilian Conservation Corps, created in the 1930s by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, a Democrat, as part of the New Deal.

“Young people nationwide are excited to see the launch of the American Climate Corps, enhancing career pathways in clean energy, conservation and climate resilience,” said Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez, president of NextGen America, an organization that promotes education, registration and mobilization for voters age 18 to 35.

“Young people are fighting for climate justice every day in their community, and now they have even more opportunity to continue this fight in their careers,” Ramirez said.

More than 50 Democratic lawmakers, including Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, had also encouraged Biden to create a climate corps, saying in a letter on Monday that “the climate crisis demands a whole-of-government response at an unprecedented scale.”

I’m glad to know that the climate lunatics helped influence our government’s decision.

This movement stinks of desperation from the Biden administration.

Biden knows that his days as ‘president’ are numbered.

The economy is in a free fall, and people have serious doubts about his mental health.

Things are not looking good for him in the 2024 election.

President Trump, on the other hand, is polling EXTREMELY well.

So much so that mainstream sources have already admitted how well he is doing.

This Climate Corp is a last-ditch effort for Biden to say, “Look at all the good I’ve done.”

That is why he doesn’t care about the effect that this Climate Corp has other than the short-term benefits, like creating jobs.

Once President Trump is back in office, I am sure it will take no time before this bogus executive order is put on the chopping block!
