WATCH Rep. Comer: ‘I Do Believe We Have The Votes For Impeachment Inquiry’

The walls are closing in around Joe Biden, or at least that’s what GOP lawmakers are telling us.

WLTR previously reported that a Biden impeachment inquiry has widespread support among the Republican establishment—even Kevin McCarthy, who explained that any efforts to impeach Biden would take place through a vote on the House floor.

Rep. James Comer recently told the media ‘I Do Believe We Have The Votes For Impeachment Inquiry,’ though this remains to be seen.

The Epoch Times relayed this quote from Comer, who is spearheading efforts to impeach Joe Biden: “We built a case that will win in court.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene likewise announced: “I introduced Articles of Impeachment on Joe Biden’s first full day in office because we knew the truth a long time ago. Now, I’m confident we have the votes in the House when we return in September to finally open an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden.”

Breitbart provided this statement from Comer:

“I think that with the revelation of all these emails, you know that Joe Biden was communicating with Hunter Biden about his business about all of the corruption that he was involved in.

I think that was the straw that broke the camel’s back with a few of the Republicans that were a little nervous about going the route of impeachment inquiry.”

Liberal pundits on MSNBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ and ‘The Reidout’ provided a counter-perspective to Comer and Greene’s recent statements and believe that GOP lawmakers do not have the required votes.

According to NTD News:

Elsewhere, banking records obtained by Congress related to the Biden family’s business dealings show that over $20 million in payments from foreign entities had been directed to the president’s relatives, including Hunter Biden, and their business partners during the time President Biden was serving as vice president.

The records show that Russian, Ukrainian, and Kazakhstan nationals were among those paying the Biden family and their associates.
