Check out more of the story from the New York Post:
The door to America is wide open.
Thousands of migrants are flowing across the US border in Arizona every day — literally through open floodgates that have made the Tucson post the busiest point of illegal entry into the country, The Post has learned.
US officials have inexplicably welded open 114 massive gates along the Arizona border to allow water to flow freely during the annual monsoon season and for the migration of an endangered species of antelope, officials said.
ADVERTISEMENTBut the move is also letting an average of 1,400 migrants from as far away as China casually walk into the country daily — with overwhelmed and outnumbered border agents practically helpless to stop them.
“We thought the agents were going to tell us something,” one Ecuadorean migrant said. “But we just walked in.”
Said another from Cuba: “It was so easy to get into the US.
“Nothing like our journey through Mexico. That part was hard,” she added. “I thought there was going to be more security.”
Video taken by The Post shows a group of around 50 migrants strolling through the opened gates and into the US in a matter of seconds, with nobody stopping or questioning them.
Smugglers are capitalizing on the floodgate blunder, driving migrants by the busload to the border and dropping them off as if they were casual tourists. Once across, they turn themselves in to border agents and say they are seeking asylum.
Border Patrol agents call them “give-ups.”
Last month, 42,561 migrants were encountered at the Tuscon border post, a huge jump over the June number of 27,294. Tuscon now tops traditionally busier border spots at El Paso and Laredo in Texas, where 24,352 and 26,627 border crossings, respectively, were reported in July.
This is horrible.
America as we know it is being destroyed by unchecked illegal immigration pouring into the country.
These people are outnumbering real Americans.

CBS News has more on the border crisis:
U.S. officials along the border with Mexico processed migrants 183,503 times in July, as illegal crossings jumped by 33% after dropping to a two-year low in June despite record high heat levels, according to government statistics published Friday.
Border Patrol agents recorded 132,652 apprehensions of migrants who entered the U.S. unlawfully in between ports of entry in July, compared to nearly 100,000 such apprehensions in June. Moreover, U.S. immigration authorities processed 50,851 migrants at legal ports of entry, a record high, mostly under a system that allows asylum-seekers in Mexico to use a phone app to request appointments to enter the U.S.
The sharpest increase in unlawful crossings occurred in Border Patrol’s Tucson sector, a sprawling and remote region that covers most of Arizona’s border with Mexico and parts of the Sonoran Desert, where temperatures have reached 110 degrees every day this summer. Border Patrol recorded nearly 40,000 apprehensions there in July, a record for the sector.
ADVERTISEMENTBorder Patrol apprehensions rose across several demographics last month, especially among families traveling with children, a population that poses significant operational challenges for U.S. officials due to legal limits on the detention of minors. Border Patrol agents processed more than 60,000 migrant parents and children traveling as families in between ports of entry last month, nearly doubling June’s tally.
Apprehensions of single adult migrants stood at just over 62,000 in July, virtually the same level as June. Border Patrol also processed more than 10,000 unaccompanied children, nearly a 50% jump from June.
I fear for the future of this country.
Illegal immigrants will continue to take jobs from hard-working Americans.
Our country’s social support systems will continue to become burdened by these people.
We are the ones who are suffering from this.
NEW: 'Floodgates' at the border wall in Arizona are left wide open as illegal immigrants are appalled at how easy it was to get into the country.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration just sold off $300M worth of border wall parts.
