Jack Smith Could Get HIMSELF Indicted, Alan Derschowitz Predicts

Well, ain’t this a doozy?

Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz has just lobbed a legal grenade into the middle of this whole political rodeo, and boy, it’s a TWIST!

Our good friend Jack Smith, the man who’s been leading the charge to take down former President Trump, might find himself in the hot seat instead.

That’s right, the very guy who’s been stirring the pot might be the one who ends up getting cooked!

Smith’s been trying to nail Trump with everything but the kitchen sink, but guess what?

If the courts decide that Trump had every right under our First Amendment to make a peaceful January 6 speech, then ol’ Jack here might have just shot himself in the foot!

How’s that for a plot twist?

Our favorite legal gunslinger Smith might’ve been so gung-ho on taking down Trump, he didn’t realize he was putting himself in the crosshairs.

If this doesn’t have you laughing into your morning coffee, I don’t know what will!

More details below:

Buckle up, folks, because this is one ride you don’t want to miss!

The hunter becomes the hunted.

You can’t make this stuff up!

Let’s see how this one unfolds.

The Daily Caller confirms Derschowitz’s comments:

Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz said that Special Counsel Jack Smith could himself be indicted if the indictment of former President Donald Trump is thrown out.

Smith secured a four-count indictment of Trump relating to his efforts to contest the results of the 2020 election after he previously secured a 37-count indictment against Trump in June based on an investigation into allegations surrounding classified documents, which was supplemented with a superseding indictment issued Thursday that included charges against Carlos De Oliveira, a maintenance worker at Mar-a-Lago, the Florida estate owned by former President Trump. Trump faces arraignment on the charges in the Jan. 6 indictment on Aug. 3. (RELATED: ‘Reduces To A Haiku’: Jonathan Turley Says Many Of The Charges In Trump’s Jan. 6 Indictment Are ‘Protected Speech’)

“You know the worst thing about this indictment, under the terms of this indictment, Jack Smith can be indicted. Let me explain to you why,” Dershowitz said. “The statute says the following, two or more persons conspire to injure and deny somebody the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured him by the constitution. What if a court ultimately rules that Donald Trump had a right under the First Amendment to make his Jan. 6 speech and to do what he did? Then Jack Smith will have conspired to deny him of that right. That’s how serious this is.”

Fortunately, Republicans are coming to the defense of President Trump.

Matt Gaetz, the Florida firebrand, is not playing softball here.

He’s stepped up to the plate, ready to swing for the fences.

It’s clear he’s not going to sit on the sidelines and watch this political witch hunt against Trump unfold.

Gaetz has laid down the gauntlet, challenging the Special Counsel Jack Smith to present himself for a good ol’ fashioned grilling by the Judiciary Committee.

He’s not asking, folks.

He’s demanding.

And if Smith doesn’t play ball?

Well, he might just find himself under criminal contempt of Congress.

Talk about a plot twist!

But Gaetz isn’t stopping there.

He’s calling on Attorney General Merrick Garland to step up to the plate too. It’s high time someone held Smith accountable for his relentless attack on Trump, especially with the 2024 presidential election looming.

And if Garland doesn’t act?

Well, he might just find himself facing impeachment.

Yes, you heard that right.

Impeachment!

So how serious is this?

Well, other Republicans are already threatening action against Smith.

According to Townhall:

Republicans have come out in full swing to support former President Trump after he pleaded not guilty Thursday in a D.C. courthouse following his third political persecution of the year.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla) vowed to derail Special Counsel Jack Smith’s political with hunt against Trump, insisting that House Republicans “should immediately demand that Jack Smith present himself for a transcribed interview before the Judiciary Committee in the next 15 days.”

The Florida Republican promised to hold the corrupt Biden prosecutor accountable if he failed to comply by sending a subpoena and holding him in criminal contempt of Congress.

“If he ignores the subpoena, we should hold him in criminal contempt of the Congress so that he is the first prosecutor in American history to prosecute a case while himself under criminal contempt,” Gaetz said.

He then called on Attorney General Merrick Garland to hold Smith responsible for unfairly attacking Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election, adding that Garland should be impeached if he sits back and does nothing.

This political showdown is just getting started.

It’s high noon in D.C., and it’s only a matter of time before the tables turn.

The Democrats have really stepped in it this time.

Just you wait and see!
