BREAKING: Armed Suspect Barricades Himself and Hostage In Caesar's Palace

We have a developing story out of Las Vegas.

A man has apparently barricaded himself and a hostage in the Caesar’s Palace hotel in Las Vegas.

SWAT teams responded to a call at 9:15am Tuesday to a domestic violence incident.

The suspect barricaded himself and a female hostage in his hotel room.

The man, who is allegedly armed, started throwing furniture through the window of the hotel.

Video of the incident has been released on Twitter.

The hotel has been evacuated and the area sealed off.

An allegedly armed man pulled a woman into his hotel room at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, before barricading themselves inside and throwing furniture out of a window into the pool area below.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said they received a report of a domestic violence disturbance at the hotel and casino at around 9.15am Tuesday.

The male suspect pulled the female victim into the room by force before police arrived, and when they tried to make contact with the occupants of the room, a man refused to open the door and said he was armed.

He has since been seen hurling large items out of a window, including a chair, as a SWAT team and crisis negotiators try to speak to him.

Police have said the situation is ongoing, while a single male and female are believed to be in the room. A window to the room was broken and objects were thrown out of it, while negotiators are speaking with the male subject.

No shots have been fired by police or the suspect at this point, police said. The floor of the hotel where the room is located has been locked down.
