Is Ridiculous Bud Light Ad With NFL Star Final ‘Death Blow’?

In a pathetic attempt to reel in male beer consumers, Bud Light released an embarrassing 15-second ad with NFL star Travis Kelce.

The short ad shows the Kansas City Chief tight end grunting with his male peers.

Nobody in the ad says a word.

They simply grunt and hold their Bud Lights.

But nobody actually drinks the beer.

Perhaps it’s still too embarrassing to be spotted drinking a Bud Light?

Online commentators viciously mocked the Bud Light ad, suggesting there’s no escape for restoring its image.

“So you went from a man pretending to be a little girl to now showing manly grunting people …to swing it the other way? You gotta lock your marketing team in a room with rabid dogs and toss the key,” one individual on YouTube commented.

“It’s hilarious how Travis didn’t even touch or drink their product, yet they still paid him,” another individual on YouTube said.

“It’s actually embarrassing to be seen with Bud Light now… Alyssa did the impossible by destroying a brand that has been the top selling beer for decades,” someone else commented.

“Bud Light thinks the demo they must return to is males who only know how to grunt,” Twitter user IT Guy wrote.

“Why is it so hard to just depict a regular beer drinker? It’s as if their Marketing geniuses are trying to understand an alien civilization.”

Fox News reports:

Transgender activist and influencer Dylan Mulvaney was announced as a Bud Light spokesperson to promote the March Madness basketball tournament in April, which has prompted a months-long boycott of the brand.

The trans activist showed off cans of Bud Light sent by Anheuser-Busch that featured Mulvaney’s face, celebrating a milestone in her viral “365 Days of Girlhood” series where the influencer detailed her daily experiences in her first year identifying as a transgender woman on TikTok.

An interview with Bud Light‘s marketing VP Alissa Heinerscheid also surfaced, where she criticized the brand’s consumers as “fratty” with “out of touch humor.”

“We had this hangover, I mean Bud Light had been kind of a brand of fratty, kind of out of touch humor, and it was really important that we had another approach,” she said of her marketing strategy.

The ad titled, “Backyard Grunts with Travis Kelce,” appears to be aimed at Bud Light’s alienated male drinkers but most of the video’s comments lambasted the brand for the latest attempt to save face.

“Man Bud Light is going for the death blow at this point,” one commenter wrote. “This is what they think of their client base, stupid grunting cavemen.”

The Bud Light boycott has reached the point where it costs less than water.

Bud Light Is Now CHEAPER Than Water

Andy Wagner a manager at a Pennsylvania Beer Warehouse stated “At this point, it’s cheaper than some of the cases of water we’re selling in the back.”

As of June, Bud Light has lost over $20 billion dollars since inking a brand deal with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
