The thing about boycotts and backlash is that both tend to diminish over time. …
However, in the case of Anheuser-Busch things seem to be getting worse as each week passes, and its flagship product Bud Light continues to slump in sales.
According to recent sales data, Bud Light’s sales volume plummeted during the week ending on June 10, 2023, and now sits at the lowest point since the start of the boycott.
Breitbart presented this figure of a 26.8% drop in sales for that week:

“It is my pleasure to inform you that Bud Light has suffered its worst sales drop since the boycott began—26.8%!!The boycott is somehow getting stronger. Conservatives have made it clear to BlackRock & the WEF that their Marxist ESG agenda will be met with severe consequences.”

The New York Post dissected the sales data:
For the week ending June 10, Bud Light sales dropped by a whopping 26.8%, according to the latest data from Bump Williams Consulting and NielsenIQ.
That’s wider than the 24.4% drop seen during the prior week — and topped the all-time previous worst plunge of 25.7% during the week ended May 20 — since the beer giant got into bed with Mulvaney on April 1.
It’s hard to see the brand bounce back from this, as the memes just won’t stop. Bud Light and Anhesuer-Busch are being torched on the internet right now.

Take a look at this Babylon Bee skit that references Bud Light. How can a brand live this down with their core audience? The Bud Light label has been reduced to a joke.

The Epoch Times reports one analyst’s sales figures for Anheuser’s other brands:
His firm noted that sales of Budweiser were down 10 percent, Natural Light was down 2.3 percent, and Michelob Ultra was down 2.4 percent.
Notably, Budweiser’s sales were down 7.8 percent the previous week, the data show.
