Fox News Host DEFENDS Biden In Front Of Trump

Ever since Fox News called the state of Arizona early in the 2020 election, the network has never been the same.

During Trump’s most recent interview with Fox News host Bret Baier, it was very clear whose side Baier was on.

During one point of the interview, Baier asked Trump why he took “classified documents” to Mar-a-Lago.

Trump quickly let Baier know the documents he had in his possession were declassified and in a safer spot than where Biden kept his documents after.

Baier however quickly came to Biden’s defense when Trump pointed out Biden’s big mistake and said Biden at least gave back the documents.

Here’s what The Hill reported:

President Donald Trump on Monday defended his retention of classified materials after leaving the White House, telling Fox News he did not have time to go through the boxes filled with the documents.

“Why not just hand them over then?” Fox anchor Bret Baier asked in Trump’s first interview since being arraigned last week on federal charges.

“Because I had boxes. I want to go through the boxes and get all my personal things out,” Trump responded. “I don’t want to hand that over to [the National Archives] yet. And I was very busy, as you’ve sort of seen.”

Baier noted that the Justice Department’s indictment laid out how Trump allegedly told an aide to move the boxes containing classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate while also telling his lawyers to indicate he was cooperating.

“Before I send boxes over, I have to take all of my things out,” Trump said from his club in Bedminster, N.J., where the interview was filmed. “These boxes were interspersed with all sorts of things, golf shirts, clothing, pants, shoes, there were many things.”

Asked if he was aware of Iran documents being among the items in the boxes, Trump said, “Not that I know of,” while claiming everything was declassified that he took with him.

Trump pleaded not guilty last Tuesday to charges on 37 counts following a Department of Justice indictment alleging he violated the Espionage Act and obstructed justice in taking classified records from his presidency and refusing to return them.

Here’s what the New York Post reported:

Former President Donald Trump suggested Monday that he just didn’t have time to comply with a federal subpoena for his White House documents, claiming he needed to “go through the boxes and get all my personal things out … and I was very busy.”

Trump, 77, gave the bizarre explanation for hiding dozens of boxes containing classified papers to Fox News “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier in an interview six days after his arraignment on 37 federal criminal counts.

“Why not just hand them over [to the National Archives]?” Baier asked Trump.

“Because I had boxes. I want to go through the boxes and get all my personal things out. I don’t want to hand that over to NARA yet. And I was very busy as you’ve sort of seen,” Trump replied.

“Yeah, but according to the indictment, you then tell this aide [Walt Nauta] to move to other locations after telling your lawyers to say you’d fully complied with the subpoena when you hadn’t,” Baier pressed.

“Before I send boxes over, I have to take all of my things out,” Trump insisted.

Jack Posobiec was shocked over Bret Baier’s defense of Biden.
